iPhone 12 Pro Best Buy Order

I cancelled mine as well. If you cancel the preorder 7 days before it is available for pickup, you shouldn't be charged for carrier service correct? Not sure why I got an email saying "Your mobile device was successfully activated, and you may be charged for service."... it's not even going to be here for a week.
Just called Best Buy (well their call center). After on hold for 30 mins I was told on her end it doesn’t even look like my order has been processed. Said the status says awaiting inventory. No phone today.
Bestbuy online chat is pretty funny too now. If you try to get there through your order page (or on the app if you type in an order number), they say there aren't enough customer service reps, try again later. But if you remove the order number or seek to chat through a sales page, then you get connected with someone instantly. I get that there's excessive demand from people who want to check the status of their orders, but I certainly don't want to be treated as inferior just because I already agreed to give them my money.
Sigh. I think it's time to bite the bullet and cancel.
(Honestly, it's nice to be reminded once in a while how much Best Buy sucks.)

I did. I got the 12 Pro in Pacific Blue today.
My order stayed in a pre-order status until around 4:15pm EDT today. I went right over and picked it up.
Gunna take a little getting used to though, going from the bigger Max to a Pro.
Really disappointed with Best Buy. Only got my wife’s 12 today. The 12 Pro said it would be ready all day but I got there and they told me it might be on the truck they were unloading but they weren’t sure.
Couple hours later, got the delayed order email. I cancelled and am picking up a 12 Pro graphite from my local Apple store tomorrow morning. I’ll have to suffer with a 512 GB model instead of 256 GB. Oh, darn.
Try harder next time, Best Buy. And maybe less focus on trying to compete with Amazon.

Yeah I’m starting to regret going smaller but hopefully I can get use to it. Are you going to stick with it?
I ordered on Verizon. Got a delivery date of 11/4. Going to scout out my local Apple stores and if I find one cancel my order. Just wish I knew when they got new stock available online

Picked up my 12 Pro at the Apple store this morning. In and out in 10 minutes. Easy. Like it should be.
I'm still up in the air about it, not entirely sure. So far I am leaning towards keeping it.
The thing about the MAX is they went bigger to 6.7". If they would have stayed with the 6.4 of the 11 Pro Max, I probably would have got the 12 Pro Max.
Ironically, and I know it's my imagination. To me it looks like my wife's iPhone 11 from last year is bigger than my 12 Pro.
Just got my gold pro 512GB from the Apple store. Was in there less than 10 mins. Really smooth and quick

It's not ironic, it's fact! Same screen size but the iPhone 12 pro is smaller than the iPhone 11. My wife also have the iPhone 11 and I was just comparing them and noticed this. I went to Apple's site to look at specs to confirm.

Nope. No chance I’ll go any bigger. Felt like the iPhone X was the perfect size. Think the 6.1 screen is a lot better now
