Uh hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they have no control over and no clue how many they get. Any number they tell you before they receive them are made up.

As for the OP... sorry but launch day is not looking great for you but anything could happen

You're not bearing any news. You're clueless like everyone else.

Not really. Common logic would say the chances of Best Buy getting 10 units is many times higher than 70.

Common logic? Please explain why ten is more likely than 70. And why 70? Is it because 70 is closer to infinity, and it is impossible to make an infinite amount of phones?

Why? Because there are limited numbers of the iPhone 4. This is known. When a product is limited, logic says that 1 is more likely than 2, 2 is more likely than 3, and so on.

You apparently haven't dealt with Gagoots before. He's our town idiot.

Hahaha!

!

So if a product is limited at 35, and everyone expects to get 35, it is more logical for them to get 1?

What he's saying is that it's a zarking placeholder, or an estimate at best. Stop talking to people like you're about to pee on their faces.

First show me why the product is limited with an official press release. ;)

LMFAO

Really? There is a limit to how many iPhones apple has made? As opposed to all of the products that they make which are limitless?

OK, everybody. Each Best Buy store is only going to get ONE iPhone because that is the most "logical" amount.

Relative to the demand? Yes. If supply outstrips demand, supply is effectively limitless. On the other hand, if demand outstrips even a massive supply, that massive supply will be insufficient.

Does it really take someone else's brain to process these ideas for you?

OK, everybody. Each Best Buy store is only going to get ONE iPhone because that is the most "logical" amount.

Every Best Buy, if it gets a shipment, will, by necessity get at least one iPhone. Thus, the chances of their receiving one phone are higher than their chances of receiving two, which are higher than their chances of receiving ten, twenty, thirty.
