Best Buy Preorders

Has anyone had luck preordering an apple item from best buy.com? I got my apple watch 2 preordered on the apple app but then checked on best buy and they were taking orders for sept 16th as well. Wanted to order there as I got it basically half price with the reward certificates I had.

I ordered on both places. Will be cancelling the Apple one if people have had luck with actually getting it on release day through best buy. Let me know

I did the exact same thing, except i didn't have any reward certificates. Ordered at Apple but the shipping slipped to Oct and Best Buy apparently had release date shipping so I ordered both. Like some other people mentioned in the thread, I was going to cancel the one that didn't ship first but knowing that some were started to ship, I decided to go with BB. I had a BB offer for 2x membership points on my amex so i'll stick with that.

Thing is I'm going to be out of town on the 16th. I really hope I can hold the package for pickup. I'd hate for it to be waiting there. For what its worth, my order is still in "Processing" however the Applecare I also purchased has "Awaiting Activation". I'll probably be watching this thread like a hawk.

FYI, this morning bestbuy.com has a few models available again that say they deliver on the 16th if you select 2-day shipping.

I saw that too... for me there I a little bell going off that makes me think that doesn't sound right.

I ordered 2 watches from the morning of 9/9 that are still processing. I hope they come through but I don't know that I trust Best Buy's delivery estimates.
