I'm tired of membership deals. They're just another way to suck revenue out of customers unless the pricing, across all product lines, is discounted, IMHO. Warehouse clubs do that and at least offer savings rates than just special discounts.

$100 isn't much and after member ship it's $50. Most people would be better off buying it at a store like B&H and with their card getting the tax rebated.
The BB Total plan ($179/year) includes AppleCare+ which many people normally buy. If you purchase a few Apple devices throughout the year, the $179 is definitely paid for and all your devices have AppleCare+.

Sure. As I said in another post it depends on your buying habits. I can get better prices elsewhere and, if I read BB’s T&Cs properly they only cover devices for 24 months and I prefer keep cover on my Mac for as long ad I own it. Plus if you cancel the plan AC goes away.

Again, it’s about looking at your buying habits to see if the service is worth it for you.

What's the big deal with fingerprints. I've been getting fingerprints on my car windows, and tv screens for decades. You just wipe them off and then they get more fingerprints. So what? The parts of the laptop that people are whining about don't even show any information. They're just the case.

Agreed and in the majority of cases, most people never need to use their AC+ so it's a total waste of money as is most insurance of any kind.

Why do you touch your car windows and TV's screens? I've seen MacBooks that look like people eating fried chicken sit down in front of their Mac and think it has a touch screen and before you know it, it looks repulsive and definitely not sanitary.

Perhaps. As with any insurance, it's a risk reduction option and its value depends on how well you can handle a potential loss. If you can't afford to cover a loss then insurance offers a way to limit your costs in the event of a loss, and then isn't a waste even if you don't use it. It all depends on the individual situation.

Planed to get a 16 inch MacBook pro m1 pro this black Friday. Thanks Apple, m2 pro may land under my budget.

Too soon to see the type of deals at the savings we currently see on the M1 Pro and Max systems today on the M2-series by BF, IMO.
