Never understood the point of a 12.9" tablet.

Not surprised it's already on discount.
I trie the surface pro 4 for a month and I could not use it as a tablet. Returned it and went back to the surface 3. You can't hold a 12 inch device comfortably.

Lol wouldn't be surprised if this went down even more. Even my dad, the biggest Apple fanatic, got tired of the huge size and sold it off on eBay. "What's the point of this? Might as well just use my MBA"
You're the reason iPad sales are down.:D
I took forever to updated mine. The only reason I did was because the Pro has been aggressively discounted and I sold my old one for a good price. Apple overcharged the Pro big time.
[doublepost=1461006026][/doublepost]I love the large size to watch movies and surf the net.
Just purchased mine last week, I have 30 days to return to BB but I'll ask for a price match and if they don't give it to me then I'll return it and buy at Staples.
The Pro 12.9 is being aggressively discount. Apple was too greedy on the first place. People are keeping their iPads longer and longer and they keep raising prices. Makes no sense.

Out of interest, what ios version are you running on it?
Only iOS 7. And even that is pushing it! Seriously overdue for an upgrade.

Sure, I'm not saying it has to, but what's the point in shelling out $700+ for a tablet for the purposes of being an alternate to a laptop, when it's inferior in every aspect? Zero potential for serious real world business or design usage.

Flimsy stand with horrible keyboard, no mouse support, having to use apps and websites in iOS, the list can go on. If you're the type of person who just uses the iPad for Safari, YouTube, and Email, and want to throw away money instead of getting a decent laptop, go ahead.
Couldn't have said it any better. And this is Apple's dilemma. Misguided and too expensive of a device with no real purpose other than casual use only.
