Where have you seen the 19th date? I tried to find thatThey wouldn’t honor the $300 trade in even though it says valid through the 19th. They wanted to give me $200 for it. They said no way for them to change it in the computer.
I’m pretty sure that was just because I did the trade in estimator online and it last a week. Either way they didn’t honor it. I showed them the screenshot of the $300 value and gave them my phone number and email like it said to do. They said there was no way for the, change it on their end. I’ll just keep it and use it for sleeping or times where I don’t want to risk scratching my new one. I usually give them to family members when they want a new watch anyway.Where have you seen the 19th date? I tried to find that
Had you already purchased the new series 10 and initiated the trade in as a part of the purchase, or were you planning on trading it in and then using the gift card to buy a watch after? They wouldn’t honor the $300 trade in even though it says valid through the 19th. I had two series 9s. I did the estimator online for both before I went to Best Buy. I traded one of them in on the 12th for $300 on a Best Buy card and was going to trade the other one in on the 19th because the site said “value valid through the 19th” and I didn’t want to be without a watch for a week.Had you already purchased the new series 10 and initiated the trade in as a part of the purchase, or were you planning on trading it in and then using the gift card to buy a watch after?
Thanks! I ordered a series 10 for pickup and selected trade in then as part of the transaction. I’m wondering if they’ll honor the $300 that they offered them and is listed on my order info page, or if they’ll change it like they did for you.I had two series 9s. They should honor the $300 price as you already selected Trade-in and specified what you were trading in, when you placed your new watch order. If you look at your order details, it does list the trade-in value, correct? Thanks! I ordered a series 10 for pickup and selected trade in then as part of the transaction. Yes, that is correct. It is still listed at $300 on the order details, though there is that asterisk saying it will be reevaluated upon trade in. Here’s hoping! The other issue is my original band got damaged, so I was planning on bringing another one as a substitute in case they want one, so we’ll see what happens. I can't say for sure because I did it in person, but the online customer service person said that it was just the watch. The guy in store seemed unsure about the band, but he explicitly said that Best Buy indicates when they want the charger and it wasn't listed for the apple watch (again, all in store, so follow any instructions they gave or chat with customer service so you can have evidence if you are worried).Question about best buy trade-in. Should band and charger shipped included when shipping for trade-in?
I did not know I can trade in in store. Will do in person then. Thanks!I can't say for sure because I did it in person, but the online customer service person said that it was just the watch.
