The sales experience at Best buy is abysmal (and after sale... Oh my). That's the main reason they won't be selling it right away. Maybe when the products mature they will, but not initially.

Abysmal is subjective. I've never had an issue buying anything in BB. TV's, computers, audio equipment, or whatever. If I had an issue I'd simply take it the CS counter and it's handled. The only problem I have with BB is the same problem I have with any electronics store. Trying to sell me a darn extended warranty (they're not pushy but extended warranties are a pet peeve of mine).

I don't think Apple has an issue with BB shopping experience. Otherwise they wouldn't sell iPhones, iPads, and Macs there. Products ranging from $350 to multiple thousands. The :apple: watch fits right in the middle of that category: $350 to $1000+. Excluding the edition of course.

Apple is marketing the watch as a fashion piece. You know "an extremely personal experience". Buying a watch is like buying shoes. BB is not that kind of store. Pretty simple IMO. That's a more likely reason than BB is a bad shopping experience.
