I have the ultra hybrid. It, along with the candyshell grip was my favourite for my iPhone 5.

Spigen had a sale on and they're one of the few case makers who have a UK store. So I got the capsule and the ultra hybrid.

The capsule I personally find much better than the hybrid but I miss the grippiness of the candyshell.

Can't really decide now between the candyshell grip and the griffin journey.

But think I'll stick to the candyshell as it has more lay on the table.

But since the bendgate malarkey (I had a 6 which bent after a week of being babied - and I mean babied. My 5 looked brand new after 3 years use that's how much I baby my phones) I'm a little nervous as I know the speck is a pain to get off the phone (I know it's daft the 6s is a totally different material and is much much stronger than the 6 was).
I hear you though. I had two 6. Both bent a little. I baby my phones too. The first one I noticed bent after a day. Apple replaced it. The 2nd one I was doubly careful with and it had a slight arc in it after a year but otherwise looked brand new.

I had a Candyshell Grip for it, and I hated taking it off. Loved the case, hated the removal. The 6s is much ugh stronger so it should not be an issue, but last experience is sometimes hard to shake.

I didn't even have the grip on the 6! Just a spigen capsule as I just picked it up when I got the phone so I had a case to put it in.

As I said I know logically I'm being daft. The 6s is a different phone. Made with different material. I've seen the bend tests. There is and will be no bendgate 2.0. Apple don't make the same mistake twice.

But I still can't shake that little irrational bit of worry!

Forgot to note that I bought my Grip cases at TJ Maxx (or TK Maxx for you) for $10. Hard to beat that.

Thanks!

There's one of those in the city centre so will check it out next time I'm there.

Personally I always liked the Ultra Hybrid Spigen Case. It is very elegant and the grip us great. I would get it again if I needed a new case.

That's what I have on my phone right now. Can't say I find it grippy. In fact the opposite. The capsule and ringke fusion offer more grip.
[doublepost=1452707402][/doublepost]Have ordered the speck from eBay as I got some vouchers through earlier so it cost me £7.

Have the griffin in my Amazon basket and will grab that next pay day.

Just to update. The speck arrived his morning.

Love it! Great to finally have a case with some grip so I don't feel like I'm constantly about to drop my phone!

Had a Moss Green Candyshell Grip for my 6, but sold it with the phone a few months back. Finally picked up another Candyshell Grip for my 6s. Got the White this time. So happy to be using a Candyshell Grip again, and I love the White. I'll be switching between this and my Space Crystal Ultra Hybrid as the moods change. But right now, I've got absolutely no desire to take this off.

Grip can be very subjective since people have different sized hands and hold their phones in different ways. With that said, the Speck Candyshell Grip makes me feel like friggin Spiderman when using my phone. It's designed so well for grip it's borderline sticky.

When people have asked me to describe the feel I would always say that it's the only case that grabs you back.

I like your Spider-Man analogy. Very accurate.

i highly recommend spigen capsule case
Hi, Saeed.mt -

Unfortunately, this particular case is apparently only available for the 6/6s, not the 6+/6s+. Spigen has a Capsule case for the "Plus," but it's a different design, one that doesn't seem nearly as grippy.

Best regards,
Brian

Thanks but I already got the candyshell.

I also said in my OP that I had the capsule. Whilst it's grippier than the ringke fusion and the other spigen it's still not what I would consider 'grippy'.

I really do like the Apple Leather and silicone cases. Not wallet friendly like look good and does the job.

What I don't like about the apple cases is they don't protect the whole phone.

The bottom is open. I have no issue shelling out for a case. But I don't object to paying a premium for a case that doesn't even protect the whole phone.

If you are looking for ultra thin with excellent grip, definitely give the Softgrip case a try... here's a review from RunAroundTech on it...
