Because you're trying to cheat a system. You're willing to spend your cash or your mommy and daddy's cash on an iphone, but you're unwilling to buy a cheap case off eBay until your free case comes. Ignorance comes to mind because you had to ask in the first place. If you can't afford another case then you have no business with that phone.

You need to look up the word ignorance, because you're using trying to use it as a synonym for stupid and failing immensely. I didn't come on these forums to get a talk from someone who feels the need to seem superior to another on a forum, I came here to ask a question.

Cheating is not a perfectly viable option. .

How is it cheating the system? Wouldn't that be more like buying a case that doesn't offer a 30 day refund period and attempting to take it back? Or trying to get two free cases at once? What I'm trying to do is exploit the system not cheat it.

People like you need to learn a lesson in life and I hope it comes at you hard

This might be the silliest thing I've ever read on a forum. If you feel that I need to learn a lesson over trying to save $35 on a cell phone case, you need a reality check and you need it fast.

Ave maria. Stop bitching and just buy a cheapo TPU case from ebay. It's like what 99c with free shipping? And then you wont even have to go to the hassle to get off your bum, find the receipt, drive to the store, wait in line for half an hour and fight with the guy to get your money back.

I never bitched, I asked a question. I most likely will be going the cheap TPU route.

Did you really expect comfort and support from us?

You have two options. Do some simple research on your own, its not like big store return policies are hard to find.

Or go to ebay. Here is a simple $3 case and I'm sure you could find cheaper if you tried for 1 minute.

Actually yes, I did expect a little support, this is a forum after all.

Perhaps you didn't read my first post. I'm filly capable of reading return policies. I was asking if there were certain companies or stores that had an easier to deal with return policy than others.

I'm really surprised you did. This forum tends to flame anyone who tries to find work arounds. I do wish to discourage it since stores will happily pass any costs it brings about onto customers, but I don't have a moral stance against it :p

So to answer for real, Wal-Mart seems to be stocked up on a lot of iPhone cases and any returns I have had there went super easy. Returned an eReader to Best Buy to get a different brand and it was also a seamless return. Target I have had success and failure at, but it was more about the guy at the desk not wanting to deal with me. That is the big thing, even though the policies are firm, each employee will handle it differently. Lower employees seem more receptive than managers.

I think that's a perfect answer for someone who does not support it. Like, seriously guys. You don't need to flame. Get over it. Geez, you people need to relax!

It is cheating the system. You must of never worked retail. When you return a opened used product, most stores have to pay money to send it back to the manufacture. Or even if they do put it back on a shelf, I would hate to be the person buying a product (in full) thats "slightly used"

I deal with people like this every day. Scum of the earth

So what are you going to spend this $35 on? Really, I would like to know because im sure its important

actually no, the company sends it back to the manufacture and gets credited. They do a simple inspection and repackage them back up, hence why they say if items are returned they need to be in perfect condition. If it wasn't it's useless to them, this is why they have a 30 day refund policy, if they didn't get credited it wouldn't exist.

believe it or not most people here bought products they thought were brand new but in actuality was not. now isn't that wrong? of course not though cause you guys only see one side of the coin, poor poor companies huh? not really

in the end it doesn't hurt the company, nor does it hurt the consumer. If the item is damaged then obviously you can't return it back for a reason, so enough of this boo hoo crap for companies that make millions.

OP - just steal a case for temporary use. What's the difference in the character it takes? And, you save from having to bring or ship it back!
