Still think these are a waste...I've bought every iPhone and iPad on each launch day and I've never used a front screen protector.

Never had even the tiniest of scratches...

Maybe a waste for you but some people use their devices in environments where one is nice to have.

I bought another pack of these. I used them for the last iPad and they've been great...plus you get 3 (i always mess up at least 1).

I got these for my son's iPhone and really liked them. They're easy to install and you do get three so you have extras to swap out or in case you screw the installation up.

I never noticed the severe rainbow effect that was mentioned either.

I work with sand everyday, sand just so happens to be the number one reason people scratch their mobile devices.

Gorilla glass is no match for the tiniest particle of sand, after all glass is made from sand.

Some of the people I work with have phones that would send most of you guys straight off the ledge, literally looks like they polished them with sand paper, lol.

Beware of these, they have a horrible rainbow effect under floresent lighting. Otherwise they are nice because they are much harder to scratch than those form sgp and power support. I have used all three.

Yeah you can sometimes notice it on the bezel but honestly it's not much and you really have to look. You'll never ever see it when the screen is on...it doesn't distort the image at all and under regular light you won't notice a thing in any section.

They've been fantastic since I bought them. For the price, you can't beat em. the fact you get 3 is huge too.

They would be perfect if not for the rainbow effect. It is annoying when I am in my office.

So if you order from here:

http://www.spigen.com/spigen-sgp-ipad-3-3g-wifi-screen-protector-steinheil-series.html

you get 2, but if your order from amazon you only get one?

Where does it say you get 2 on the SGP site? I don't see that anywhere..

If you look at the bottom of the Product Description tab, it shows "Steinheil LCD Film 2EA".

I just cancelled an order from Amazon for 1 film. Cost $4 extra to order it directly from Spigen but you get the extra one. My plan is just to sell the extra one if I get it on in one shot. :)

Warning: I just received word directly from Spigen that orders done through Spigen.com and Amazon contain only 1 film. They are working to update their website.

Thanks for posting the update DesertSilver. I also sent SGP an email trying to confirm this, since it is much cheaper to order from Amazon. Now I can get back to driving myself crazy over which case to buy.

has anyone ever installed these using water? Is it possible? I fear I will have many many bubbles during install of this and was thinking about doing somewhat of a "wet" install (like when working with vinyl or tint)

The screen protector at that Amazon link states it is one that uses static cling. These are very easy to install with no risk of the same type of bubbles you get from adhesive based films. The only thing you need to worry about is dust, which is easily removed by using a piece of tape to lift the film and then another piece of tape to grab the dust, then set back down. Rinse and repeat if you notice more dust.

I just ordered a crystal clear power support screen protector (it says it's for iPad 2, but there are no differences on the screen, in fact most of them are selling iPad 2 screen protectors as "compatible with new iPad").

I have one of these on my iPhone 4S and it's the closest thing to the actual screen I've ever seen, it's really great:D

They are easy to install. If any lint gets under it use one piece of tape to lift it up and another to remove the lint. Never touch the bottom side with your finger or water and you should be OK. I easily got mine on without a single bubble and no lint.
