Prada, Louis Vuitton and a number of other higher end designers all make a decent selection of cases.

Yeah I saw prada and Lv they are mostly sleeves the Hermes is a nice one but it's 1800

Gucci and Burberry both make a portfolio style case as well.

Almost forgot to mention Cartier

I have narrows it down, I think I'm going to keep the smart cover and grab a vaja smart grip when i find a good deal. If i would have known the iPad would have been the same figure for 2 gens, i would have invested in the hermes case. If i don't find the smart grip cheaper I'm going for the gucci folio, (i prefer this case but want to se it in person)

Got my white Vaja Smart Grip today (a full 10 days before I expected it). I got it with a white interior and exterior. Looks nice with my navy Smart Cover.

Kind of disappointed with the quality though. For a case that costs this much, they didn't put much thought into the shipping package. It was shipped in a Fedex envelope so the "retail" box of the Smart Grip was crumpled in the corners. The Smart Grip itself looks fine, but upon close inspection there are a couple of dark colored marks or spots around the edges that border the screen. Took Vaja's advice and tried a white eraser to remove these marks, but a couple of them won't come off.

Luxury cases

I had been searching for a nice hand made custom/luxury case for a while. I almost pulled the plug on an Hermes case but i decided against it since i wanted a more portfolio style. Since that point i had kind of stopped looking and just started again. I have also come to my senses and realized i could instead buy a cinema display with that 800-1k so i have a new budget of 500 max.

What are some nice cases that you guys have seen. Right now the Vaja's are looking so great.

Check out Levenger.com. Nothing they sell is cheap, but all top grade leather and many styles,.The case on first page of current catalog uses circa notepaper (very cool). Pricey, but the notepaper can be removed and reinserted without tearing, and comes in a variety of colors and styles. Their guarantee and return policy is the best! Please don't discount this company due to prices. Ask for a free catalog and at least see what they have to offer. I own many of their products and have been a customer for years.
These are Luxury Leather cases and folios plus much more and other than briefcases are in under $200 range.
