Brilliant monitor, I use for my laptop, wife has their 22"
Does fine on minidiplay -> hdmi connection, speed in games is perfect, refresh rate is solid, great contrast and backlighting, 1920 resolution; it's wonderful and I challenge yall to find a better price on something this competitive I tried back in December to and couldn't.

We have a Samsung 27" lcd screen and I can tell you for some reason the cinema display is much better maybe bcoz of the glossy screen the colours are more vibrant etc. thats just the way it is glossy screens gives you vibrant colours, blacker blacks if theres such a thing... i have a 40 inch samsung tv and that looks soo much better than the samsung comp screen.

And the build quality of the ACD is just the best. But then comes the price, it costs as much as a mbp 13" so I dont know if the cost can be justified.

I returned one of these - the sparkly glow it has was just painful for the mostly text-based work I do. It's OK for movies I guess - colours are great.

M.

I don't have any sparkly glow on my HP LP2475w.
No problems whatsoever here.

Some of the higher end LG models are really good.. that's what I use.. I think the 24" matte LG I have is the same panel that Apple used in the previous 24" cinema display

Ive heard rumors of a 27 inch ACD... what could be the cost on that one??? Prolly pretty damn expensive... but also pretty damn nice...:D.... you guys think the price of the 24 inch could drop when the 27 comes out???:apple::apple::apple::apple::apple:
