There are no such thing as "best headphones for certain laptops".

Any good quality headphone is good with any laptop or desktop.

Anyway, if you are looking for any generally good quality headphone, get either Sennheiser or Bose. Forget about that generic crap apple earphone/bud packaged with macbook.

budget probably £130 and i listen to r&b and hip-hop mainly

they are a bit too expensive!

Then the Shure SE215 is very nice. It's $99, has a very strong punchy bass and warm mids. It lacks a bit off top end. It should work well for R&B and hip-hop.

edit: Apparently the VSONIC VSD3 is a Shure SE535 at only the fraction of the cost. I haven't heard these personally, but if this is true, then buy this one if it has a nice bass. It should fit your budget also :)

The AKG 812 Pro and Shure SRH 1840 will beat any Sennheiser headphone on a laptop due to the fact they are incredibly easy to drive and thus are far more portable (and cheaper). I would never buy a Sennheiser HD800 for my Macbook Pro.

Stay away from the Bose unless you like paying up for very low quality products with an expensive marketing budget.

I am enjoying the AKG-550 with my MBP. They have the advantage of being closed back phones so you can use them when you're in public places without creating noise pollution or having outside noise pollution interfere with your listening pleasure.

Best affordable headphones in my experience, both open providing a clear, rich and detailed sound in movies, rap and especially electronic music, while being light and comfortable:
  • Corded: Sennheiser HD 595, now superseded by the HD 598
  • Wireless: Sennheiser RS 180
As an alternative, though not my preference, those are closed headphones that I like very much as well:
  • Corded: beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO (80 ohms)
I own all of them, all working flawlessly with MacBooks, bringing pleasure to my ears for 4 and a half years now.

+1 on the beyerdynamics

The most enjoyable listening experience on earth.

I don't use the Audio Technica ATH-M50s myself but have heard nothing but good things about them from owners. They fit well into your budget too.

I was going to recommend JH16s or UE 18 Pros but those are a bit more expensive but they make great portable headphones.

Agreed, unless you have an external DAC/amplifier.

Sennheiser Momentum is a fine choice as well in the ~$300 price range, especially if you're looking for portability and looks.
