Hydrogen is the future! but Electric cars will become mainstream first because they need to be charged using power which comes burning coal. once coal power plants are diminished work will have been finalised on Hydrogen engines and storage.

Where exactly are you getting that hydrogen from? The most common method involves vast quantities of water and electricity, both expensive commodities, depending on your locale.

Jumping straight to an all-electric vehicle platform would be more efficient in the long-term, and the electricity generation problem can be pushed in the right direction with small increases in nuclear production, and larger increased in solar, wind, or hydro production. Regardless of power generation method, it will be a more efficient platform than ICEs and hydrogen vehicles.

I'm voting for the wheel on this one. Without it, your life would be almost entirely different, and not necessarily in a good way.

That's like saying the automobile was a bad invention, and showing a picture of a car crash. Without the container, Alaska would be without food, clothing, vehicles, etc... (OK, maybe not without, but it would all have to be trucked up, and would be much more expensive.)

Actually, reproduction takes place in all species of animal, and given that virii and bacteria are far and away the most diverse and successful species and manage it without partaking in sex (reproducing as they do, asexually) and yet still manage to evolve - evolution doesn't require sex as your post suggests.

Also - given that human sex is an easy process and a pleasurable experience, it generates the sociological problem of promiscuity, unwanted pregnancy, and a huge number of totally unprepared and unfit parents.

I think the best invention is probably the electric motor/generator. Directly harness potential energy through kinetic energy! Spin it manually, it generates electricity, add electricity, and it spins!

Awesome in my opinion, and while comparably weak, is an extraordinarily clean system. Powers many of the innovations and research of modern day!
