MKBHD referred to the Pro as the step child in the line up... Suggested people wait for the Max for the True “Pro” experience

Yeah, it’s precisely that review which instilled in me a regrettable sense of doubt. I resent that the smaller Pro has been nerfed this year.

I don't want this to be an ad for my (kind of) review, but I am really curious what you guys think about my take on iPhone 12 Pro.

My main message is that iPhone 12 Pro is not the best at anything (in this year's iPhone lineup), but it's great at everything (meaning it doesn't have any big weaknesses).

What do you think?

BTW, personally, I am waiting for iPhone 12 Pro Max.

All of these 12 pro videos are cool, but if you want the best performance and camera, the 12 pro max will be the way to go! That’s what I’m waiting for. That 47% larger sensor....finally a bigger sensor! The photos and videos are going to be superb. I’ll be going with Silver now instead of gold for the iPhone pro max, thanks to the original posted video, that’s a beautiful iPhone!

I’ll make up my own mind thanks. I don’t need youtubers to tell me what phone to like.

I love how many reviewers go through a hard time to select real bad photos from iPhone 11 Pro and compare them to ordinary iPhone 12 Pro images to exaggerate the difference. Just look at this guy picking some horrible shot pictures off 11 Pro that would not hold a candle to the worst modern iPhone camera of them all model X. If you don't know nothing about iPhones, you come from Android world, you would think that every iPhone before 12 was absolute garbage in camera department. Same story happens every year, next year they will take some horrible shots by 12 Pro to compare them to super clean shots by 13 Pro etc.

I'm also biased... I have the 12 Pro and ... it's rapidly heading to being my most favorite phone ever. So I found myself nodding a lot at what he said, lol.
Same here. Coming from an iPhone X this is a great upgrade, and I already loved my iPhone X, hence why I had it for 3 full years (since launch day).

The iPhone X certainly wasn’t slow or anything, but the battery life, much MUCH better camera, and overall beautiful design is a very welcome upgrade on my new iPhone 12 Pro.

EDIT: I should add that 5G is a mute point for me right now (no 5G in Austin, TX... go figure), but everything else about this phone has been awesome... and the new A14 Bionic is noticebaly faster than the X‘s A11.

5G is 2 blocks from my house, North,West,East, or South. LOL :) But that's ok, I use wifi at home most of the time. Haven't done any speed tests (not really my thing) but I did see the ultra speed at the mall locally (I think)? - Again didn't speed test but kinda cool to see these new technologies. Hopefully this speeds up data in heavily populated areas (like malls, events). Several spots in CA near Los Angeles where you can't get any data on your cellphone because the towers are just overloaded.

Mixed results for battery life, iPhone 12s beat the 11 pro when it comes to internet browsing, lose out big time when it comes to gaming.
