I've had
the incipio gel case
the contour isee
the agent18 hardshell

but the best is what i got today and that would be the Elan Form from Griffin, sweeeet case.

iSkin Revo! I've dropped mine more than 10 times and my iPhone is in perfect condition. No dents, dings, scratches, shattered screens. The price is a bit high, but it's worth protecting your $200-$500 phone.

incase slider case is the best case for me hands down. It is one of the most popular case for the iPhone original and the 3g version just came out. I just got mine today and I absolutely love it. Go to www.goincase.com

Ive tried a few different cases (Zcover, Wave and now Iskin2) and the Iskin is by far the best ive seen and used.

The HipCase is by far best

If you want a case with a belt clip I would recommend the HipCase for iPhone Digital Lifestyle Outfitters. I looked and looked for a really nice case but they all had sharp edges or clips that came apart, etc. This case as they describe it, is "Luxury Leather." I agree, no sharp edges, soft leather, quality stitching, and the clip is part of the case, not an add-on.

I have the Naked Case and Griffin Elan Form.

The Elan Form is easily the better of the two for me...I didn't like the Naked Case at all.

Might try the Contour Flick, but the Elan Form is working out so well don't know why...I just like experimenting.;)

dont you find that the flick really doesnt offer much protection to the phone? I have seen it on the phone and off and it looks cheap, and only covers the back, to me a case is about protection and looks not just looks but thats just me, i got the agent18 ecoshield in black it looks nice on the phone and its really sturdy feeling. Although it does add a little bulk its really not that much. Not going to lie i do like the looks of the flick but think its over priced for what you get.

Honestly I think the back needs more protection than the front. I carry my iPhone (and my iPod touch before that) in my pocket all the time and have never gotten as much as the tiniest scratch on the screen.

Otterbox

I had the Otterbox Defender on my 1st Gen iPhone and loved it. While it was bulky it definetly gave the phone the best protection and had the screen protector built in too... Im waiting for the 3g version which is due out in early Sept. The original also had a holster that the case locked into so I never worried about losing it... cant wait for the 3g version.... :)

Blast from the past. Welcome to..

incipio ngp is awesome, comes with a screen protector and the case itself never gets lint or dirt stuck on it.

edit: just saw it was from 2008 my bad...

Mine is in an Otterbox Defender case and will remain there for 90% of the time. When I need to dress it up I have a Frogz case, but that will be rarely.

Otterbox has come up with a good looking tank of a case for the iP4. It may not be to everyones liking but I like protection for my glass iPhone and the Defender certainly delivers it.

I love my soft touch iPhone 3G case from iFrogz. It comes apart into 2 pieces and is made out of a hard plastic but is very soft to the touch. Here's a link.

I have the iFrogz case on my iPhone 4 now. These are nice cases at a very reasonable price. However, I like full coverage on my phones and I'm using the iFrogz case just until my Vaja iVolution Top comes in. Years ago when I got into Pocket PCs more or less as a hobby (I love high-tech toys!) I tried a number of different cases. None came close to the quality (or cost! :) ) of the Vaja case and I've used them ever since on my Pocket PCs, phones and iPod Touch. I've probably had a dozen Vaja cases in the last 9 years and have been completely satisfied with each one. If you can afford it, one of the Vaja cases is the way to go IMHO.

Had an iSkin Revo on my 2G for three years. Have a Belkin Grip on my i4. I need the grip of both cases. But i'm definitely going with that Vaja Black Series. Looks proper.
