Frankly, I don't know why ANYBODY would use your american carrier overseas. International roaming rates are crimes against humanity.

Besides, once you see how cheap SIM cards and voice/data is in SE asia, you'll forever despise the capitalistic and political monopoly the phone carriers exert at the expense of consumers in the US.

I used to pay because i didn't have an unlocked phone and didn't want to use unofficial means plus it was still nice to receive calls from home.

AT&T's $30 for 120mb of data or VZW's $25 for 100mb of data isn't exactly a terrible deal.

Read again: the GSM iPhone 4 will work. The CDMA model will not. Sprint uses the CDMA model.

All iPhone 4S models should work if unlocked for international use, which Sprint will do for you.
