Best Laptop Cooler

I've been using a Belkin laptop stand. It has a fan and some fancy ventilation features. It's not that loud and cost me like $5.

iLap by Rain; I found that the passive cooling of the iLap to more efficient than powered coolers with my early 08 2.4 Penryn MBP.

The powered cooler tends to reduce the temperature of the bottom of the MBP, however I found that this fools the MBP`s cooling system to some extent and the internal fans tend to spin down faster resulting in higher CPU/GPU temperatures.

The iLap`s passive cooling definitely keeps my model of MBP cooler, I was also initially skeptical that it would out perform my single fan powered Belkin cooler, I found a significant difference under full load, and of course no additional fan noise.

Running: Safari, iTunes, Mail, Pages, ConceptDraw Pro, 48C :)

This is what I have, and I play games in Windows all the time. Sure the fans come on, but that is to be expected when playing a game on a laptop. In OSX, I can rarely get the fans to get above the stock 2000 RPM.
As I am typing this, I have Safari, iTunes, Mail, iChat, Address Book, and iCal open, and I'm sitting at a cool 40 degrees C. Plus it comes with a kick ass hand pad for when using it in your lap. (Family has arthritis, therefore this is what sold my fiancé when I told her I was spending $50 bucks on a laptop stand.

I have the mStand and i love it:

For $49, the Rain Design mStand is situated as one of the most expensive products in its category. However, I feel that this price is justified. While most competing products are significantly cheaper, none approach the aesthetic appeal and durability offered by Rain Design's precise, well-engineered architecture. For MacBook and MacBook Pro owners in particular, when you factor in the enhanced heat dissipation and free access to the front of your machine that is offered by this design, I can see very little reason why the mStand should not be considered as essential as a notebook case.
