Hi,
could you give us a little feedback about this mouse when you have it ? I actually would like to buy the same.

I can't believe that there is more lag with a bluetooth mouse than with a classic wireless mouse.

Tex

Well, I just got the Logitech 470 bluetooth mouse today. Easy to set up, and works great. I was immediately playing Age of Empires III (an RTS) from the go. Great response. If there's any lag, it's extremely minor. And I know, because AoE3 does require a fair amount of fast, accurate mouse movement. And it really works on all surfaces. I've yet to see how the battery life will perform, of course, but we'll see. The biggest weight is the 2 AA batteries in it.

I definitely recommend this mouse.

Ok thanks, it sounds good.

Get 2 AA lithiums and its battery life may top half a year or more.

The best gaming mouse is a mouse that fits comfortably with your hand, not base on people review. Some people love the $2 cheap Dell mouse and some pay $60 for a Logitech.

Razer is garbage. After burning through a copperhead, then a diamondback, then a habu, all in the same 6 months, I will not buy another. The Logitech G9 has a far superior build quality, and the second shell makes it very comfortable. Configure in Windows with the software, then uninstall the software because the settings are saved on the mouse! Brilliant. It's $100, and it shows.

If that's a little too rich for your blood (In truth I got the mouse for for an employee purchase program that cut the price in half), the G5, and the MX518 are also excellent. Couldn't recommend the MX Revolution as it's wireless. The VX revolution is also nice, but not so hot for competitive play.

I have a Logitech MX518 which I love. I used it on Windows PC for around 2yrs or so. Thing is, Logitech doesn't make drivers for Mac for it, so the forward and back buttons don't work is OS X (I use those buttons a LOT for web browsing going back and forth pages, and also like to map them to commands in games).

That's the only reason why I'm considering getting a new gaming mouse for my MBP.

m1stake, can you confirm that if you program the thumb-buttons on a G9 for foward/back in Windows, and plug it into your Mac, it'll recognize and work? If so, I'll definately get a G9 instead of the Razer DeathAdder I was about to buy. I wish the MX518 has on-board memory so I could use the thumb-buttons. Thanks.
