Best Map App 2026

Apple Maps, Google Maps, Waze.

The debate has never been hotter.

I know everyone will have their reasons and preferences.

I’m mainly interested in the poll, let’s see what the numbers say 😊

I voted Apple Maps as it's just habit and fits in with the Apple aesthetic.

I prefer Apple Maps to Google, it’s just a nicer experience. Google still wins with breadth of business listings so I alternate depending on need. What I have found surprising is time estimates. Both in New Zealand and Vietnam I have found Apple Maps to be vastly more accurate when estimating travel time - this is the opposite of what I expected.

Google pips Apple Maps for me due to live activities. Why doesn’t Apple Maps have this yet?

Google is far more accurate, at least in my part of the UK, than Apple Maps. I don’t drive so Waze I don’t believe is much of an option for me, but happy to be corrected.

I voted for Apple Maps as this is what I most often use.

But, I like the Google Maps presentation in my 2026 Chevy Colorado... Best integrated auto-map I have seen. Clean looking.

Apple Maps, google is alright but I prefer 3d view in Apple Maps and traffic info. Waze, to many traffic indicators are wrong or still show when expired.
