Hey mate , Even i have 13 inch

and i am using this Carrying BAG

Code:
http://www.goincase.com/products/detail/nylon-sleeve-cl57324

Its really nice and the nylon... it simply protects your Macbook pro from all over.

I really want to find one that has either a velcro or zippered mesh pocket that I can put my AC Adapter in so its not just bouncing around against my Macbook

Ya, the Chrome Citizen has two sections. The main compartment and a sort of hidden second section, which is held shut with Velcro. That's where I cram all my cables (comp, iPod, cameras, psp) when I travel. But you really should check out bags in stores first...

I have always used Crumpler bags for my laptops. I still use my Crumpler rucksack everyday when I cycle to work and it is REALLY comfortable.

I had a Crumpler messenger bag for a while at uni, but needed more space so I got a rucksack instead.

My laptop has seen some SERIOUS abuse whilst encased in that bag. It has seen things that laptops just shouldn't see, and she has been protected from all of it.;)

I've had many different Messenger bags but I always make sure the straps are sewn to the main bag. I'm always fearful that the the clips that some of them use will let go while I'm on my motorcycle.

That being said, it really depends on how much stuff you carry/want to be able to stuff into the bag. What kinds of pockets and access do you need?

Check out the WaterField Designs bags

Check out the WaterField Designs Cargo bag for your laptop needs:

I personally carry around the Cozmo, but the Cargo is a bit more stylish. I usually have my 13" unibody MB in their SleeveCase and my accessories (iPod, iPod charging cable & power adapter, USB hub, USB, Firewire cables, USB card reader, portable hard drive, monitor adapters, USB external Mimo monitor, Apple Bluetooth keyboard, and a couple magazines in my bag on a daily basis. Solid bags and they're are made in San Francisco where I'm from.

Cheers!

I was doing research on this just last week, feel i fairly exhausted all options in terms of a stylish good quality bags for my MBP 13". My top three would be:

STM Cargo:

Booq Mamba Saddle (bought this one, got it off ebay for a decent price, arrived yesterday - so far so good):

Manhattan Portage bags are nice, understated, modern - quite pricey though:

Hope this helps

I picked up a LeDonne 2116 a while back.

Its on Amazon for $124.

It seems like a gamble on a no-name brand, but it really is a fantastic bag. Beautiful, full, great quality leather, with plenty of space for your MBP in the main pocket, with room for a textbook or two, and it has 2 large pockets in the front which are great for carrying your power brick and other accessories.

Thanks for the link!

If you want something a little different, Far Horizon Traders makes some interesting looking leather satchels. I get a lot of compliments on mine.

I really like this style bag and was looking for something like this for a while now. From your experience, how good is the quality of this bag? Would you mind taking some pics, so that I can get a better idea of how it looks in 'action'? I'm more concerned with the size of the bag and I couldn't find any video reviews on YouTube or the like...

Also, is something like this appropriate in a formal settings (ie. business meetings, interviews, etc.). Does it look good with a suit? I'm a recent college grad and I'm looking to invest in a nice "grown up" leather bag to carry my laptop and resume & books plus additional documents with me to job interviews and/or grad school.

Thanks! :)

While waiting on the MBP update, I have had a ton of time to look at laptop bags for my anticipated 13" MBP. The one I am leaning towards is by incase. Its even got a little pocket for my iPhone!

I also like this bag by be.ez, though I am not sure how practical it is since it doesn't really stand up completely on its own when you set it down.

Now, after looking at all of the messenger bags on this forum, I also like the STM bags.

Problem with Messenger and any Shoulder Bags is they bang off your hip when you walk and aren't centered well for carrying.

I think a Backpack is better for all around use, even business people are carrying more backpacks than ever.

I went through about 10 messenger bags only to figure out a backpack suited me much more ... reason I didn't buy one earlier is I though messenger bags looked more professional ... then I realized comfort and functionality is more important than looks ...

I bought this for my MBA and it works well. I sold the MBA a while ago, but the bag has accompanied me through lots of very stressful traveling and it's always held up. I never liked the look of ballistic nylon, and I'm a vegetarian so I try to avoid leather. The Coach nylon feels like and smooth.
