I think i'm gona go for the Razer Orochi - Seems to be pretty good @ gaming and a fairly sturdy all-round mouse.

What warranty's do Razer mice usually come with?

Also i'm slightly worried about how small it is - anyone know if any UK stores stock it?

The Orichi has a 2 year warranty, and I know the build quality on my Death Adder 1800 (first edition) is incredible.

That mouse looks awesome, don't know how functional it would be though!

If you like lots of buttons and customization, the RAT is awesome. Basically, it comes in pieces, and you build it to your fit your hand. I never really cared for that many buttons, so I never really bothered with it, but some people will swear by that thing.

Razer Orochi is you want a wireless mouse.

I have the Razer Deathadder on my gaming rig and I plug that into my MBP and LOVE IT still. Razer makes quality mice.

I use a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse.

Pros: Dark Field technology lets you mouse on any surface - this was the #1 reason I purchased this mouse. There's a desk with a piece of glass on top at the he satellite office I work out once in awhile - previously I was using a piece of paper to mouse on, but said F it and picked up this mouse.

Cons: The mouse requires the use of a very small USB dongle (stays plugged in 24/7, no need to unplug it because it's so small). The con here being it uses up one of the two USB ports (WTF Apple, 2 USB ports on a ****ing PROFESSIONAL notebook, really?).

Overall, I'm satisfied with the mouse. Haven't used it for any FPS games yet, but otherwise is seems to track fine. Had I had seen this thread first, I probably woulda picked up the Razer Orochi though. :p

You kids out there with the Razer Orochi, does it work on glass or other typical no-mousing surfaces (magazines, books, etc)?

I use a Logitech Anywhere MX mouse.

I actually have teh Anywhere MX mouse, I was really impressed with it, especially for the price. However, it appears to be broken now - it seems to disconnect every 5minutes and the pc seems to not recognise it sometimes, for whatever reason.

I'l let you know about the Orochi tomorrow when mine arrives.

Cheers

Tried switching channels on your router? I've heard 802.11b routers can cause issues with it.

Call Logitech. My first Anywhere MX had some imbalance in the scroll wheel, so when you initiated free spin, it would wobble and not stop where you would anticipate (it would roll back and forth a time or two as it was coming to a stop due to the imbalance). Super annoying. They sent me a brand new one - didn't even ask for the "broken" one back. I now have 2 - gave the other one to my girlfriend.

So, how is the Orochi?
