Hahaha, wow, relax. I was just adding to the conversation about mouse options, you mentioned the MX, I made a post that supplemented the information you related. Didn't say it was BT, didn't say you had no perspective on it ... it wasn't some personal affront to your mouse expertise :)

Maybe you should try decaf :D

sorry did not mean to come off as rude. decaf not helping. gotta kick the habit all at once.

but my point was I did not mention the MX, I mentioned the V470. I was just trying to state that the MX, which the OP mentioned, was not bluetooth since it was one of his 3 things he wanted in a mouse. sorry for the confusion.

No problem, and I totally understand the crankiness with "mis-referenced" quotes too. I wasn't really commenting on your post so much as "Hey, this poster mentioned the MX, I'll quote and talk about it too", sorry if my quote implied anything!

Cheers! :)

Thanks guys! The Magic mouse is back in the picture. My only concern is that for work I'm running parallels for windows and I've heard the scrolling doesn't work. There isn't a clear cut answer online either. Any of you have experience?

This guy knows what he's talking about.

I borrowed a friends Magic Mouse and found that my hands were too big to use it comfortably.

I bought a Logitech MX and found that I really hated the scroll wheel.

In my opinion, the V470 is the best mouse out there, it's more usable than the MX (in my opinion). As for the MM ... Well I don't know how anyone uses it comfortably, maybe I'm holding it wrong.

Why would anyone want to use a wired connection with their mouse?

I don't get the paranoia videogamers have with wireless = lag.

In addition to the battery argument, wireless mode has slight latency that can result in devastating results in-game. That's why I never play with a wireless keyboard when playing Starcraft 2, quite literally every milisecond matters and having that slight delay can mean falling behind. It's a gamer thing.

I love my Orochi, but I'm probably going to replace it once I get a Mac. It just doesn't look like it belongs with the Mac.
