Been looking around for some less expensive and possibly longer lightning cables. My iPhone comes in on Wednesday.

I've been doing a lot of amazon research but all the reviews muddy the water for me. Anyways any input is appreciated and maybe links and prices with them if you have an extra second.

Thanks

I trust TheWireCutter implicitly, and they suggest this one from Monoprice.

Anker MFi Certified is good too.

I have a couple of these:

http://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Apple-Certified-Lightning-Cable/dp/B00B3OA7R8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1413828363&sr=8-1&keywords=lightning+cable

They work with no complaints, and are heavier and longer than the factory cable.

Exactly. And the other reason is that if they fail at the connection point, Amazon will replace, no questions asked.

I've never had an issue with cables until we switched to the Lightning cables. I still have several perfectly working OEM 30-pin cables that are 5-10 years old, but the Lightning can't seem to last more than 8-10 months without failing at the exact same spot. I've learned to only buy them from places with great replacement policies.

I have a question...

How many threads are you going to spam/resurrect/troll with links to your website?

FWIW, I NEVER visit spammer's websites.

amazon basics for sure

Can't recommend these enough. I bought 4 of the 6 foot cables and they are awesome. I have had them for over a year and they are still kicking along. Well built and the extra length has helped in many situations.

I'm definitely putting in an order on a few of these. I use one in my car, house and at my work desk. So i'll probably get 3 other ones and have an extra for wherever.

6ft cables for in my house. Whoever built it in the 70's must've not been predicting the use of electronics in the future. There are only 4 outlets in the basement! I hate leaving my phone to charge on the table like 4 feet away. With 6 ft I could see my phone much better in case of emergency situations or if I have an important call or text coming

Another Solution: Apple Watch :D

I can vouch for the Amazon Basics lightning cables. I have 3 of them. They are far better than the standard Apple cables.

I ordered 4 of these last night. Some for gifts. I hope I like them. I am strangely excited. Hope they arrive soon! http://paracable.com/

Those cables are sexy and wouldn't mind having a couple but I couldn't bring myself to pay $25 dollars for one that is only 3 feet. :(

Post some pics when you get them in if you don't mind.

Anker. I have always had good luck with them. Customer service is wondeful.

+1 to this. I ordered some for work and they are great quality. I also just purchased 2 of their battery chargers because my last one was lost/stolen. Love them and they are so sleek. Picked up the 2nd Gen Astro E1 and the E5 for power outages and if I am not near a place to charge.
