What would the best advice you could pass onto humanity?

My advice would be....

1) You are better than you think you are, so be the best version of yourself.

2) Health is the best wealth, don't let poverty put you down.

3) Don't let others steer your life and destiny.

These are great pieces of advice. :)

From me:

1. Don’t spend time worrying about what you can not control.
2. Be accountable for what you can control.
3. No one is perfect. Make a mistake, apologize and try to not make the same mistake again.
4. Don’t hold grudges.
5. Treat others as you would want to be treated.

I could go on and on.....

1. Focus. Don’t let distractions - of any kind - steal your life a small piece at a time.
2. Read. Then read again. Read.
3. Don’t be afraid, ever. However, be always prepared for the worst.
4. Roasted chicken is a man’s best friend.

Lol for roasted chicken :) :) , mine is roasted lamp.

Well, not necessarily such a good piece of advice for those too poor to maintain good health...

Anyways, my advice is a good one I think:

Don't put off till tomorrow, what can be put off till the day after tomorrow.

I also have a few more for ya:

If life gives you lemons, say "Sorry life, I didn't ask for lemons. I asked for a speedboat"

Never bother with love, cause we all either die or leave each other in the end anyway, and what makes you happy will make you twice as sad

If you're scared of STDs, remember to only reuse a condom three times

Stop trying hard at school - Everyone's always told to do their best and get good grades, but we need unskilled and uneducated workers to do the grunt jobs nobody else want.

Narcotics may ruin your life, but if you're so far gone into a dream world you never notice, is it really so bad?

And finally, and perhaps most importantly! Don't always listen to some stranger on a forum telling you what to do, be a bit critical about what you hear - it may be good advice, or it may be bollocks - Learn to sort things out.

No one is telling another what do or not to do. Its a forum you can like or dislike a particularly advice, its up to you. If someone say to me "live like there is no tomorrow" its a good reminder to enjoy your life to the max.

Every second goes by it will never come back so yeah its a wake up call to live like there is no tomorrow.

5. You never count your money while sitting at the table.

There'll be time enough for counting when the dealing's done.

6 Know when to fold em
7 Know when to hold em
8 Know when to walk away
9 Know when to run

I was just fooling around, mate. I think there's some semi-truth to my post, but mainly it was just a bit of a laugh :)

Although my earlier post was made partly in jest, the advice can apply in a wide range of situations.

"Know when to hold them" can apply to power tools, money, friends, and children.

"Know when to fold them" can apply to towels, sheet metal, and gratuities / bribes.

"Know when to walk away" can apply to jobs, provocations, and many relationships.

"Know when to run" can apply to exercise, bathrooms, and politics.

A professor gave me this advice many years ago and it has served me very well.

When you get a job, get to know:
1 - Your bosses boss
2 - Your bosses secretary
3 - The Janitor

When I was hired as a new teacher, I got a similar list...

Get to know...

1. Principal's secretary
2. Copy lady
3. Custodian

Like many others i know that i am not the best of me. I know i can be a lot better If i use that organ in my head to its best.

Also, a lot of people are gifted by nature at something but they are not using it.
