The best place to buy is Apple, the cheapest place to buy is often Bestbuy if you can put up with their ******.

I'm in GA. I didn't know about an Apple $200 discount. I just got the $100 student discount and talked them down on the iWork software and got that for $30 instead of $70 like they wanted. Best Buy is pretty willing to serve as long as the sales person gets his commission.
So I applied online for the best buy and apple credit card and got denied by both, i got a decent paying job that i just started and I dont have to pay for tuition so all my moneys mine. I really dont want to blow off 1300 striaght up and would rather pay it over a 2-3 month period, if i went in-store to best buy would i be more likely to get it?
That explains it, ive only been working for 2 month..... well then, bye bye last 3 paychecks :/
it probably depends on what you have in your town for stores. either apple store or other place to get it. if you get it online it might be more of a hassle to ship it back if you decide to return it versus being able to go to a local place, you'd have to decide what you think
I also did this. Even got my student discount and 18 months of no interest!Just make sure to pay it off before the 18 months!I got mine from Best Buy and got the student discount a few weeks ago. It's was a pretty simple process, plus 18 months no interest on your Best Buy card.
