Well, it seems BSE came through on their promise to me. They did re-send me a 1 piece back. I'm going to try and get it on this weekend and get some pictures up for you guys.

Good on BSE for this one :D

Nick, any chance of posting those photos, I'd love to see them. :)

How did the installation go? Is the one piece back really more difficult than the two piece?

Recommended!

I applied the front and 2-piece back and it has been great!
Would prefer the 1-piece back but it is easier to apply using 2 pieces.
The design of the corner cut outs is the best of all the skin protection companies. It allows for the best fit.

I put BSE on my iPhone yesterday (two-piece...could care less about a tiny seam on a protective film). Went pretty smoothly.

I was a little worried about putting on the front and having liquid channel under the glass during the squeegee process but that didn't happen.

There is orange peel on the back but nothing major. I don't like the feel as much as naked glass but I'll live.

The important thing is I now don't feel hesitant about setting my iPhone on every surface in the apartment.

Quite happy with it.

Ripped my 2 piece back off... couldn't get the corners right. Way too much work for my liking.... Front looks good though.

Does the back and front of the skin still have that "Orange Peel" effect? I used the BSE on my old iPhone and the "Orange Peel" texture made watching videos in the outdoors difficult.

Its not perfectly smooth, but very durable.... You can see subtle textures on the skin.
