Whats your favorite smartphone?

I have the treo 650, and the call volume and reception are terrible.

Whats the best smartphone out there?

i currently have an audiovox smt5600 which runs windows mobile 2003 and it's been very good the past year. the 'updated' version however which runs windows mobile 5 is the cingular 2125. both are candybar-type without a qwerty keyboard. i like them :)

The 650 is still the best smartphone for me. To solve the volume issue just install Volume Care, its really good.

I'm on to my 4th smartphone as of yesterday: the Motorola A1200 MING.
So far, its amazing, everything I had hoped itd be and more. The only thing I'm missing is a way to connect to my Mac. Once this issue is solved, I'll be more than content. :)

I personally recommend a Nokia S60 device such as the Nokia N80 or, moreso, the Nokia N73 that also packs a fantastic camera (as far as phones go). Symbian is just so versatile and easy to use, and S60 3rd Edition is the best yet.

I totally agree Gary... I love the blackberrys, they just seem slightyly bulky and with no wifi, I dont know if I could justify paying $34.99 for personal blackberry data plus 4.99 for 200 txt messages a month.

Best of all worlds: Nokia E61/E62!

I've had mine for a few months now and love it. Great syncing with a mac and has all the good features like a blackberry. And its way sleeker than the treo!

yes they do seem very nice.. and from what I hear they have solid call quality and are easy to use like you said.. however, no wifi on the US version. :(

are there any flip phones in the world with wifi? how about this nokia e70? has anyone tried typing on it? I wonder if fliping it open like that would be annoying or awkward.

The E70 isn't bad although I find the screen too small. I've only seen display units so I can't vouch for the feel of the keypad. Its a nice phone though! A bit too expensive compared to the E61 though

the e61 is available in the us, through rogers or cingular, but is called the e62... and it is crippled, in that there is no wifi.

go on ebay, and get an unlocked e61, and youll be laughing. or an n80.

I wish there was a phone that was just small and had a qwerty or shuretype keyboard thats not the pearl. thats more important than the wifi to me. The LG9100 almost was what I was looking for, but it was really thick and ugly.

since the pearl is gsm.. will it work with everything just as well with a cingular sim card? i.e. blackberry connect and text messaging plan from cingular eventhough its a tmobile phone?
