You can get a crucial refurb 256gb SATA II for 250 from circuitcity/tigerdirect.

you can not get a new crucial 256gb for under 300 from a real seller



I grabbed 2 of these for 275 each but they are samsung

Samsung 830 256GB will be around 300 dollars I suspect. It's €240 here (haven't found an American website listing this yet).
