Hi there,

I'm on the market to find a good, universal battery charger. I found out that I have a fair bunch of mixed chemistry batteries, many of them used but probably salvageable, so the basic NiMH charger I have no longer does the job.

Mandatory features are:
  1. Must take Li-ion, LiFePO4, NiMH batteries.
  2. Must have adjustable charging current to charge batteries slower, thus increasing their life
  3. Must have a capacity meter to detect fake batteries
  4. Must have a discharge-only mode. Especially useful for NiMH batteries to avoid memory effect.
  5. Must have a test mode (discharge-charge-discharge), also to detect fake batteries
  6. Must have what's called "0V charging" to help restore over-discharged batteries

Optional:
  1. Test and discharge on all slots
  2. Can be used as a power bank.
  3. Can be used on DC input

I read the "gold standard" would be the Opus BT-C3100, but it's extremely expensive at more than $100, so am looking for alternatives.
