Yes, that is exactly the logo!
… And you see that at the beginning of all Netflix shows that have DV? And if you turn off the notification button, it goes away? Because if so, I’m wondering if the fact that my Bravia does not have that Notification option is the reason why it’s not supported and I don’t see it.

Has anyone seen this on Netflix recently?

I get this symbol when the Apple TV is successful in making the handshake with the TV. It does not mean that the media itself is DV.

So turn on the Apple TV, get the DV logo as above which then goes away. Go into Netflix. From the developer HUD:

No Dolby Vision (video-range:SDR) :

Dolby Vision (video-range:Dolby Vision)

Screen Shot 2019-10-11 at 2.40.10 AM.png

note that the display video-range in both cases is Dolby Vision.

[Tried to cut/paste just the text instead of the entire screen but as you can see the developer HUD screen capture won't allow that (blacks out the movie I was watching).

I don't have netflix, would need to test.
Oh, so if your screenshots weren't taken from Netflix, what were they from?

Thank you! I withdraw my original reply where I said that I needed to be able to see more than just HDR vs SDR. Now that I see that DV is detected, I am going to try to install the Developer HUD too.
