GPS is going to eat your battery no matter what you do. Even worse, you're likely in an area where cell reception isn't the greatest- so your phone is also constantly searching for a signal.... which will also make short work of your battery.

Thanks both of you! So is a little more than 2 hours about average? I never tried changing the emails to pull.

I have an IOGEAR portable battery that I have brought just in case but it's another thing and cable so I'd rather not. I suppose I'll have to check out the cases.

Other than that I've been pretty happy with the battery life.
