Beta won't go away

Used to be able to go to System Pref -> App Store -> Uncheck 'Show Pre-release updates' to hide betas.

But 10.12.1 beta won't go away in Updates, what to do?

Happened to me too.
type in terminal: sudo softwareupdate --clear-catalog
