Ive had my fair share of stupid problems with a variety of online stores so i understand where the OP is coming from.

However, I have ordered at least 3 times from this company and each time the shipping was fast and the product was decent/nice

Their cases are not the BEST but their service and shipping the correct items and in a timely fashion is good as far as my experience goes.

I am not writing this post to diss the OP just letting others know that there are FAR WORSE companies than CaseMate and to write a blanket statement like BEWARE CaseMate from one experience is a bit harsh.

So let me get this straight, since its the weekend or it was the weekend you would post slanderous comments on a forum without giving the company any chance to respond? That sounds completely fair to me (sarcasm).

I'm having a problem with Casemate too. It their new Tank Case, hope they'll revert back and rectify the problem.

On a consumer point of view, so long as the company is responsible enough to rectify the issues presented, they're still a good company. However, it's also he company's reponsibility to make sure AND ensure what is advertised is EXACTLY what is sold and sent out to customers. If a product is revised, then update their website, stop sending out the old products. This will equates to less complains, better experience from customers and result in service excellence. This is a competitive business.....

Case Mate problems are far worse

Many responses were short sighted and made assumptions that you jumped the gun. My story might put it in perspective. I had signed up to receive notices from Case Mate for their wallet folio for the iPhone 6 plus but decided to purchase the Pad and Quill version instead. I'm happy with my purchase and my wife showed an interest in a similar case for hers. I received an email from Case Mate the day before Thanksgiving stating "Black Friday starts now." They offered 40% off on the entire stock so I showed my wife that it was my second choice but a $60 case for $36 was a good deal. She asked me to make the purchase. I tried to make the purchase twice on my iPhone and each time the pages showed the discount correctly but when it came time to choose a payment method I chose PayPal. Each time the screen showed a $60 payment would be applied so I backed out. After the two failed attempts I went to my computer but this time chose my debit card as payment. Once again it showed the correct discount until I hit the confirm button when the receipt showed up as a $60 payment deducted from my account. Of course I knew it must be a glitch in their system so I immediately attempted to call Customer Service. After a long wait on hold I was instructed to leave a message with the promise that the call would be returned on the same day. I then sent an email to Customer Service detailing the event.

Since it was a holiday weekend I understood when my phone call never came Wednesday and Thursday so I waited until Black Friday and again called but could not get through so left another message and sent another email. On Saturday my bank account showed the $60 as pending and I received an email that my order had shipped but no email about the overcharge. I again attempted to call and emailed that I would refuse the package if the credit was not applied. By Monday the bank had processed the payment and still no credit or response so I again tried to call with no luck. Later on Monday I received an email that my account had been credited $24. No apology or explanation for the overcharge and still no pending credit on my bank account. On Tuesday there was still no pending credit posted to my bank account but at the post office I found a package from Case Mate. Can You guess? Instead of the wallet folio I had been sent a Glam case with sparkles but the packing skip showed the wallet folio and the $60 price. It even had the initials of the person who supposedly verified the contents. Now I'm really ticked.

I again tried to call and the phone line didn't even ring. It just kept saying failed call as if they had been turned off. I even tried the corporate phone number with the same failed call message. That;s when I searched Case mare Scams and found this post. At the bottom of the many replies was a reply from someone at Case Mate with an email address to contact to solve your problem so I emailed her directly. It came back as no such address. After an hour of trying I finally was able to get phone contact at Customer Service but again was forced to leave a message so I went to the bank and filed a dispute for the entire $60. If Case Mate wants their sparkly case back they can send me a prepaid return label along with an apology and a credit for $60. I would not do business with them again f it was free. For all of those who want to assume that it was a simple error and continue to support the company as just having a bad day go ahead and spend your money and pray. You have been warned.
