CExchange - BEWARE it's a scam!!!!!

They offered a rebate if I purchased a new wreless keyboard & mouse and sent them my old one. That was in March. It took them a month to acknowledge that they received everything and a check would be mailed in 2 weeks. That was a month ago & despite several emails requesting the status, haven't heard back from them or received my check.
They're just a bunch of crooks!!!

I did. No one but scammers contacted me from CL. And no one on eBay bid on my auction (I did end it early though-I started bidding at $350 and no bids within 12 hours of auction finish).

That's why! In my experiance start the auction at 0.99 or 50 dollars. Those work good. My iPhone 3GS 16GB with some wear and tear got 330. NO RESERVE!

CExchange Are LIARS & CHEATS

Beware, beware, beware!!!

These people at total cheats and a rip off!!! I exchanged an iPad and the issued me some stupid "gift card" to a site that has nothing but total GARBAGE! When I called to complain they just ignored me and said "too bad"! Well F!@? them!

Never use this service

Just for my own amusement, I visited Cexchange.com. I only get a $187.43 valuation on an iPhone 3Gs in perfect condition. Then, I went to the Cexchange FAQs that state that if their price is different from their original appraisal …“In this situation we will send you an email with our revised appraisal, based on what we received. At that point you can choose to accept our revised offer and receive prompt payment on it, or we will return your items to you free of charge.” Where did they lie?

What about you? If your old posts are true, you said you bought a GoPhone, put in your old SIM, and used it between the time you sent your old iPhone off and getting the iPhone 4. Once you got your iPhone 4, you had no qualms returning it to the store after you didn’t need it anymore. It’s called a fraudulent return, no different than the girl who buys a dress, wears it to the party, and returns it the next day.

Your actions affect all of us. Now, the retailer is left holding the bag for the merchandise you bought knowing you were going to return it. It’s people like you who cause the restocking fees the rest of us have to pay for legitimate returns.

You say that your unemployment benefits ran out and you need the money from the sale of the old phone. You don’t need a lecture from me or anyone else on how to spend your money when you are on unemployment compensation. It’s your money to do with what you will.

OTOH, you won’t get sympathy from me over $181.12 because your unemployment $$$ ran out. In the last couple of months, you purchased a MacBook and an iPhone 4 (and upgraded at a premium ($499) because you are not eligible until next year). From my side of the keyboard, it looks irresponsible.

I just call it like I see it. Did I misunderstand something?

Hope you can sell it on Craigslist or eBay for what you need.

Nice call ...... These are indeed the real prices which doesn't fit with the OP's statement. Not even the iP4 32GB goes up to $354.

Do not make "instant sale" on ebay to CEXchange!!!

I had an onscreen offer of $260 for my mint condition iphone4. I shipped it and did not receive any communication until I called CEXchange. At that time I was told that my phone was being shipped back unless I wanted to accept an offer of $200. We negotiated $230. Two weeks later. . .no funds in paypal. I called, left message. . .no return call. I called spoke to a representative, who claimed to not be able to reach someone in authority. I called back again and explained that I would go viral by end of day:mad:, then they immediately deposited $200 in paypal. I called back and got the remaining $30 that they had "offered". DO NOT DEAL WITH CEXCHANGE!!!!

Stay away from alltechwholesale

I used to buy items on ebay through alltechwholesale after buying quite a bit phones I saw on allot of phones that they where described much better then they would actually be, so I tried to contact them by phone and I got a real nasty response so I thought I'll leave them a negative feedback because for all these phones I bought from them I felt I deserve a better service, so I went ahead and left them a negative feedback, after a few hours I receive a email from ebay that all my ebay accounts are suspended!!!!

I had several accounts and all of them got suspended at the same time, they claimed that the reason was because my accounts where linked to an old inactive ebay account of mien that was suspended 3 months ago (because they wanted me to upload my photo id for that account so I just let it get suspended),

so I wasn't sure if my suspension on all my accounts have something to do with the negative feedback that I left so I decided to test it, I opened another 2 ebay accounts and used them for 2-3 weeks and then bought from alltechwholesale again and left a negative feedback and

BOOMS!!!

A few hours later both of my accounts are suspended again!!!!

I couldn't believe it that ebay has such corruption so i tried once more I opened a few ebay accounts and after a week I bought from alltechwholesale again and left a negative feedback it was on a sunday so on monday morning all my accounts are suspended again!!!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!

So its only left for me to tell you STAY AWAY FROM ALLTECHWHOLESALE!!! If you leave them negative feedback you risk with massing up all your ebay accounts!!! And if not you can get misdescribed items and not having the option of letting any body know about it!

For any questions or comments or if want to check out all my old ebay user id's to verify all this, feel free to contact me at 2061750@gmail.com

CEXChange is AllTechWholesale

CEXchange is the buying side of the business, AllTechWHolesale is the selling end. They buy it from you for much less than they sell it for later on Ebay. That is because they supposedly 'add value' when the open the box and grade it.

And yes, when you are a top seller generating large volumes of fees on ebay, you have a lot of influence....its just business.

Save yourself some heartache and sell on ebay, buy from OEM or OEM CERTIFIED REFURBISHER.

What makes me mad is I am paying taxes for peoples unemployment checks and they are given so much that they can afford iPhones...
Old thread I know but thought I'd chime in with facts and not just talking out of my 4th point of contact like some here do!

Your taxes don't pay their unemployment.... The EMPLOYER pays federal unemployment insurance not the employee. IF the employee NEVER uses it that money is gone (into the system), if they do then it's there to help out. So your taxes don't go to pay people's unemployment. Nice try though.

iPhones? Come to the DC area and you'll see the unemployed rolling around in $50k Escalades. Quite a grand site it is....really. Good to know hard earned tax dollars are being handed out so wisely.
See above and then judge.

The sad thing is that I pulled it off eBay because I was afraid of getting hosed and it looks like it almost happened anyway. Oh well, I told them to send it back.

Sucks, two weeks ago, my Unemployment ended, so I was counting on that money.

And to think, I went 3 days with a Go phone while these people had my baby!

Use PayPal and you won't get hosed. I've gotten refunded every time I had a problem just by talking to them.

Doesn't matter. It's still stupidly irresponsible to be spending recklessly while collecting unemployment, regardless of who's paying.

it's funny that after ski made his post, we never heard back from the OP. but he or she is still posting here, so maybe they just choose to ignore it? lol

Just click on his username. Apparently still on a buying spree as well.

Not quite. During normal (good?) times, the states fully fund the usual 26 weeks of unemployment from employer contributions. However, with the 2008+ downturn in the economy the Federal government significantly extended those benefits and that is paid for with taxpayer dollars.

Also, again due to the slow economy, many states' unemployment accounts are underfunded and they have borrowed money from the Feds, and that must be repaid with taxpayer dollars.

So during periods of strong economic growth and low unemployment, employer contributions would fully fund unemployment costs, but today that is far from true.

( eBay ID: 310369163908 ) $74.39

CExchange, LLC., 1100 Venture Ct. Ste. 120, Carrollton, TX 75006
- eBay ID: alltechwholesale
- http://cexchange.com
- (800) 351-6864

COMPLAINANT:
eBay: JEFFWILSON2012

This company sold me a Dell Tower on eBay in which the DVD-RW is defective. When I brought this to their attention rather than just replace the DVD from another tower someone returned like I suggested, they just sent me a message stating they had refunded my money.

That was fine by me because I've already bought ( on eBay using PayPal ) a 1 gig video card and a 10/1000 nic card for this computer. So aside from the 30.00 shipping, I'd also be dis-positioned the cost of these components.

So the next day comes and still I see no return of funds to my account, so I contacted CExchange, LLC, aka: alltechwholesale and they responded that they had just verified and in fact they had made the refund, and tried to validate this claim with the following number: 1VC20595YM1303822

Well I called PayPal and their representative told me that this number IS NOT a refund confirmation or anything of the sort, it is a number the seller uses to put a HOLD on a buyers money. The Seller Flat out Lied to me Twice. And now after all this time and deception, I am sitting here filing these complaints rather than caring for my family and I'm no closer to being returned to where I was before this company damaged my position.

* THIS COMPANY IS ENGAGED IN DECEPTIVE TRADE AND THEFT BY CREDIT CARD.

This is the whole truth, thank you for your support & swift investigation to hopefully shut these crooks down.

Sincerely,
JWilson

At this point I need a full refund, I am not going to sell the 1 gig video card and 10/1000 Nic card just because these people a SCAMMERS.

I'll send the computer back if they pay for the Video Card, Nic card ( about 60.00 - bought for this computer ) plus the return shipping for 30.00 plus the refund of $74.39. So if they want to refund me 164.39 ( all verifiable in Paypal ), to say nothing of my time or the distress they have put me under, well then I'll return the computer and begin the search for another computer, yet another disposition as result of doing business with the unscrupulous "business."

Short of that they need to refund my 74.39 which at this point they have stolen electronically.

Response from AllTechWholesale/ JWilson2012

When we were contacted by the Mr. Wilson, we offered him a full refund. We provided him a prepaid FedEx shipping label to return item to us for FULL refund. Mr. Wilson opened a Pay Pal dispute, which placed the funds immediately on hold. The Pay Pal dispute was answered and we stated that we would grant him a full refund upon receiving the item at our facility. Since the funds were placed on hold by Pay Pal , this shows as a payment reversal in our system. We have not received the item back at our facility as of today, however we want to come to a resolution with Mr. Wilson. We have issued a full refund to his Pay Pal account for the original purchase price including shipping charges- $74.39. Mr. Wilson has been provided this information via email along with the Pay Pal refund unique transaction ID.

Alltechwholesale

i worked as a temp in receiving and they now have added HD cameras and have the receivers, show all the sides of the box and a close up of the shipping label before it gets opened.

i have seen things like iphone 4 on the paper work but its an iphone 2, with no damage to the box. the stories from the customer is 'no, i sent an iphone 4 your going to pay me for it'.

last i heard before my 'assignment has ended', the were looking into contacting providers and verifying if the IMEI/MEID was assigned to the one who sent it in!

you've been warned!

Its crazy the stuff people try to pull.
And its not always the companies that try to take advantage of customers but many shady people that think they're smart and try to pull a fast one.
There are always three sides to every story: your side, the other side, and the truth.

I was quoted $354 trade in for my white iPhone 3GS (32GB). The unit had just come from the Apple Store as a refurb. It was in PERFECT condition. I had a white Speck case wrapped around the back since day one. It was in the Speck case AND a leather case for the 5 days I owned it. The criminals at cexchange.com claim that it has minor wear damage on the plastic backing (lie). I am extremely OCD and it was perfect. They now want to offer me $172.88. I told them to send it back and that I would be posting on EVERY forum I am on about their deceptive practices.

It's total BULL. I hate it when things like this happen.

Bait and switch. You KNOW they can't pay that much bc they won't make a profit so are now offering a lower price because of these so call "damages" to your phone.

Please post this everywhere. Thanks for the heads up as I will be certain to avoid them and tell everyone on all the forums I am a part of as well as my friends.
