One of friends currently posting in this thread: "I'm not going to stop posting until all of the i7 people admit they made a financial mistake".

I lol'd.
:D

(ridiculous...but I laughed)

Haha, he's going to post forever. The price difference to the i5 is zero. At least for me. And I got to pick it up tax free in NH.:D

So I have no idea how this dork can say it's a financial mistake. Simple economy: if you can get a better MBP for no extra cost and faster then go for it.

I thought about a new one, but then I love my 2009 uMB 2.4 it has been good to me for nearly 2 years, the only thing I may need to replace is the battery, in Jan it will be 2, I take very good care of it, and cycle the battery once a week, but Coconut battery said I have 489 Battery Cycles on it, and the 9400M is ok for what I do, but I upgraded to 4GB ram and 500GB HDD.

I think I will wait for the next generation, not too fond of the i5 or i7 because I have them at work and they do not seem to be as snappy as the last generation Core 2 Duo's.
