what are you to do if you don't have enough space left for an archive and install?? i had enough when i upgraded... but the upgrade used up most of my free memory. i only have around 6gb left now...

hard drive space

I think you mean hard drive space and not memory, if that is the case you could delete the directory folder that Leopard made of your Tiger OS.

Archiving and Installing now...

Has anyone NOT suceeded when doing this?

Also, what do i do after i've booted into Leopard? What will i find, and how do i get to the stage where i've effectively upgraded?

Thanks.

yes! i got it working!

i booted from the CD, used terminal to delete the itunes music directory (to free up space... all my music is already backed up on an external), then used the archive and install option and it worked!

My install hasn't gone to plan so far. I've got a 7 month old macbook. The install runs fine until is asks me which volme I would like to install Leopard to. It simply gives me nothing and the only choice I have is to 'go back'!?

Anyone else experience this?
