Back up and running over here. I too am on 21.160.0808.004. I did not do anything to update and I wish I had thought to take down the version number when I initialy noticed the issue. I don't know if it is updated or not. I'm pretty sure I installed with a direct download as it's not in the app store for me.

Now it's going though a huge re-sync process, oh well - at least I have desktop access and don't have to go through the browser anymore.

Standalone (Microsoft-provided) version has internal update mechanism. Now it is frustrating to be forced to wait until App Store version will be updated. It is not a problem for myself, but I have customers with Mac computers to manage and they all use App Store version.

For now I ended up telling them all to wait with macOS updates until this thing is resolved on App Store as well...

I have the stand alone version. Had to manually run the updater but now at 21.170.0822 and back up and running.

Guys I just restarted my MacBook M1 and OneDrive works fine. I managed to log in to both Work and Personal accounts! Version is 21.160.0808.0004 Standalone. I did not update or changed anything on the laptop. Just a simple restart a few minutes ago. Before that, I had the same issues most of you mention and I have also tried many times to uninstall and reinstall the OneDrive app, but with no luck. Now everything seems to work ok!

Now we know that Microsoft has fixed the problem. All that's left is to see, how (un)capable will App Store be, when it comes to quick action with updates...

Okay mine is now working. Here's what I did. I went out and downloaded the installer from the Microsoft site. You'll find it here, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/onedrive/download. It gave me a warning that it needed to close one drive (because I had my personal account running) then it closed and installed over the existing version. Afterward, I was able to add my second account, a business account. Looks like the version is 21.160.0808.0004
It worked for me. Thanks! And I didn't need to sign in my other onedrive accounts; they reappear by themselves.

I can choose either my work or personal. I use the "unlink this mac" link on the account tab, then I can log in with the other account. Sorry it isn't working for you.

Thanks for this. I'm experiencing the same issues with two OneDrive accounts, one for university (adjunct faculty) and the other for work. I'm not teaching this semester, so I unlinked the school account for the time being, and logged into my regular work account which I use every day.

I'll try the fix everyone is using to see if it is successful for me.

My download version is always 21.160.0808.0002, will not run auto update, don't know how to upgrade it manually. Any clues?

Welp, what I'm hearing is promising, but I have a pressing deadline Monday and have already taken temporary measures to move all the necessary files I'm working on to my personal OneDrive account. Right now, in my current situation, I don't really have time to waste trying out the suggestions above and seeing if they work on my system. So at this point I'm just going to finish my grant application. After it's been submitted early next week, I'll see what the situation is then, what patches Microsoft might have released or updates Apple might have provided, and go from there about restoring the status quo ante for my OneDrive setup.

Ha! Just a day after wiping the App Store version and installing the stand-alone version to fix this, the fixed App Store version is finally updated.

All's well that ends well. Paying customers were only down 3-4 days, right? No hurt feelings?

Since we're talking about Microsoft's apps, does Microsoft Teams work just fine? Or are there similar problems??

App Store has got update out. New version is 21.160.0916.0005 and problem is fixed. I can add my business account back again.

P. S. It is possible, that update does not show up by itself, but is there, when to search for OneDrive inside App Store or get to it straight up from this link

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/onedrive/id823766827?mt=12

Confirmed, I just restarted my iMac, and the Mac App Store shows the OneDrive version nmt1900 mention. I added back my second account and now all is well.

Yes, the Mac version of Teams seems to be working fine.

I had an issue with my MBA M1 the other day after updating. It took several attempts to get it to load. I had to force quit it each time. I rebooted my computer and tried again. This time I left it for a while. After about a minute, it finally showed the opening Teams info screen and then finally loaded Teams.

Not sure what was up with it. Maybe it was updating? My Mac mini M1 did not have this problem.
