I was annoyed to find that you can no longer use the diskutil coreStorage create ... command to create a Fusion Drive. Apparently the command has been changed and I can't, for the life of me, work out how to do it now.
Fortunately, I was able run a copy of Mojave in VMware, mount the volumes I needed, and create the Fusion Drive there.
"diskutil resetFusion" without the quotes is what you want.
How to fix a split Fusion Drive - Apple Support
If your Fusion Drive appears as two drives instead of one in the Finder, it's no longer working as a Fusion Drive. Here's how to fix it.support.apple.com
Arguably, that is a wrong move. If either drive disconnects suddenly you are likely to have a corrupt Fusion drive. An external Fusion is fragile.I was trying to create an external Fusion drive from HDD and SSD.

No one had tried it out?So the company I am working at uses Premiere Pro, Media Encoder and After Effects 2019. Has anyone tried them on Big Sur? I am thinking no, but guess I will have to stick to Catalina to run those.
Ended up just doing the update. For mainstream Big Sur, Ibi Photo Manager, LBRY Desktop app, Battery Monitor, Waterfox, and OpenEMU all work.Has anyone tested the Ibi photo manager desktop app, LBRY desktop app, Battery Monitor (https://apps.apple.com/app/id836505650?mt=12), or OpenEMU on Big Sur?
Also, it looks like Waterfox patched Big Sur crashes. Has anyone re-tested Waterfox lately?
I promised my friend that if he updated his MacBook, I would too and share in his pain.
PDFPen has always worked for me. Someone added PDFPenPro to working and I didn't see the need to add PDFPen.Some has:
in the 'Not Working' section.
- PDFPen (Launches but won't display PDF content)
Is this still correct? I use PDFPenPro and it works fine.
VirtualBox 6.1.18, released 19 Jan, now working.
As Vuze doesn't work on Big Sur, anyone have a good replacement that does? Have tried Folx, but I'm not having much luck getting it to work through my Sophos UTM (firewall). I think I've opened all the necessary ports, but it just says "looking for peers".
Transmission is probably the most widely used Mac client. 'Best' depends on what you want in a BitTorrent app.As Vuze doesn't work on Big Sur, anyone have a good replacement that does?
