My droid x (4.3") is barely wider then the iPhone. Its quite possible to make a 4" iPhone without making it unwieldy large
If Apple did that (doubt it at 4.3"), would you switch back to iPhone? Or is there something else that's drawing you to the Droid X (which, in my opinion, is better than the EVO and is the best Android phone out currently)?

No, you haven't. Sure, it's a possibility that Apple will bump the screen size in a future phone. Does anyone know when or if it will happen? No.

Yes I have, I'm not talking about an actual iPhone out now but from google searching of pictures of a bigger screen iPhone. Just pictures. I should have been more specific.

No, and all who love apple/iphones will say how its not necessary, as they're too big, suck too much battery isn't very easy to hold or stash into their pockets.

Then when apple does come around and produces one, they'll marvel at apple's innovation and how they did it right and how great a large screen will be.

This is absolutely true and has been proven countless times.

Over time we are going to need a screen size upgrade or else the front of the iPhone is going to looks very obsolete comparing many of it's competition.

Yes 4" is the max that I am asking for. 3.5" seems to be getting repetitive with every new iPhone's front looking the same, except for the new iPhone 4 resolution upgrade.

4" is what we are asking for. Let's hope that we will have this screen size upgrade in the 2012 model.

But iphone's screen is 3:2 so at 4" it would be a wider than an EVO at 4.3"

I think 3.7" max unless they change the aspect ratio.

Use magnifying reading glasses

There is easy way to increase iphone 4 screen size, use magnifying reading glasses like these http://www.magnifyingreadingglasses.net
Since retina display has 4x pixels compared to older iphones, with 2x magnifying glasses you will get 2x screen area with same resolution of previous iphones. :)
