Didn’t you used to complain that Swipe To Unlock went away back in early ios 10 days? FaceID is essentially bringing back Swipe To Unlock. The process itself of unlocking will be virtually invisible (because generally the user is looking at their device as they unlock) and all the user has to do is Swipe To Unlock. As if they’re back in the no passcode/Swipe To Unlock says.
Nope I never needed Swipe to Unlock with TouchID because the phone enters the home screen automatically. I only used to have an issue when the FP sensor was too slow with my iPhone 6 when I used to resort to it. Not an issue with the 7 though so swiping the lock screen every time is going to be irritating. There has to be a setting like Samsung’s Iris scanner which automatically unlocks directly to the home screen when I bring it in front of my face.
