The problem with the Program in the UK is that it proved very difficult to identify pitbulls. There are other breeds of bull terriers that were not meant to be included and were difficult to distinguish from Pit Bulls.

All of the evidence says you are wrong. There are hundreds of breeds that are a similar size that do not have the same reputation. eg Golden retrievers, Ridge backs, Boxers etc etc.

Reputation is part of the problem. When you see evil in a breed you tend to find that evil

What evidence?

20 Worst Dog Breeds To Get Along With Kids
Pitbulls did not make this list.

Pitbulls have the highest statistics because more people own them than most other dogs of comparable size(especially in populated areas). And also because even mixed breeds are labeled as Pits if they even slightly resemble a Pit. It's funny how Pitbulls were considered great nanny dogs in the UK, and are now banned in that same country due to a bogus reputation.

Have a look at this and see what is number one on the list for dangerous dogs.

Then have a look at this to see what is the most poplar dogs.

Anyone saying that the Pitbull is the most poplar breed must live in a very scary area.

I did state ...... "Pitbulls have the highest statistics because more people own them than most other dogs of comparable size(especially in populated areas)". Which your link has not proven me wrong.

Search in Youtube for Pittbull Sharky. Every Pitbull I've had in my lifetime and every Pit I've encountered that was raised correctly has the same non aggressive demeanor.

With pure breed Pits. They are mostly aggressive towards unfamiliar dogs than other people.

You can also find many attacks on kids and toddlers from other breeds. Here is several for example.

A huge problem with Pitbulls is they are very common in lower class neighborhoods. Which means it's more likely the dogs are not giving the attention, space, and activities they need. The males are also probably not neutered, which can cause aggressive behavior towards those that the dog thinks it can dominate.

Anton Chighur knows how to deal with a pit bull.

soo big

its 173 lbs AT 17 months??? That means the dog will grow bigger! Is that dog safe? Does the city allow that big of a dog to be considered as a house pet? Pitbulls are known to be dangerous. But a HUGE pitbull can be deadly!!
