I felt like I was in a Monet painting. I'm not sure the pictures can capture it but the fall colors reflecting off the lake were amazing. American Wigeons, likely Ringneck Ducks but possibly Lesser Scaups (?), and a Wood Duck at the Lake this weekend.

Don't know where came (escaped) from but the Ring Neck Pheasant is not native to Florida. While saw them when stationed in the UK, never in the US and is a common theme among photographers in the Wetlands.View attachment 2591438
State Bird of South Dakota! At the opening of Pheasant season in SD, the Sioux Falls airport baggage collection looks like the Salt Lake City baggage collection at the start of ski season: long, thin bags everywhere, except they're shotguns, not skis. :D

I believe they were originally native to China, but so beautiful folks imported them to North America, along with UK. Nice shots!
