Yesterday I used the current found all kinds of files as it should and then wrote..."cannot delete" "delete failed" over and over and over again. This software is useless.

Hi! Please write us at and our tech team will help you with this.

It is quite possible that the files that were detected were located in restricted areas. The most common issue is when Bitdefender detects files stored in the Time Machine. Apple security policies prevent any modifications on such files.
There are,of course, a couple of other reasons.

The main thing to know is that if Bitdefender cannot delete a file it also means that file has no access to the system. It's stored in a sealed location and access to them is denied by security policies enforced by the operating system.

If you will write us to at the email provided, our tech team will be able to investigate this and provide instructions on how to manually delete them.
