Can I get any of the iPhone 11 Pro deals when buying outright? I want to buy it as a Christmas gift without monthly payments and immediate activation.

Good question. I don’t think you can receive the deal if you’re not actually purchasing it for the ‘promotional product price’, if you pay out right, then that wouldn’t apply, because you’re not purchasing it with the terms/conditions intact. (Plus, when they ring up the transaction, it probably automatically prompts the promotion in the computer, which would have to be overridden.)

That said....

What I would do if I were you, talk to a manager and see if they can ‘override’ the deal for you manually if you pay out right, it’s something that I’ve done in the past, but your situation will vary based on the store/manager.

@MacRumors, might be worth mentioning that VMware also has a sale on for Fusion, Fusion Pro (for macOS,) and Workstation variants (for Windows.) It’s not listed in the big roundup.

The Walmart online sale on the Apple Watch series 3 for $129.99 was a joke. I put one in my shopping cart at exactly 10:00 pm EST on Wednesday when their Black Friday online sale started and went to get a set of Airpods. They were already sold out, so I went to checkout the watch. That was already enough time for a message to come up that the watch was sold out as well. We ended up ordering one from Target which we will pick up tomorrow. My wife wanted a silver 38mm one, and there was only one Target in the area that still had any.

I bought an Apple Watch Series 3 from Walmart online last night for $129, and the app says it won’t be available in store for pickup until 12/10. Yet they are still selling the watch for that price in-store and they have stock. I guess I’ll be patient, but it’s somewhat irksome.

Why do iPhone deals always require activation?

They don’t. I’ve purchased several iPhones at full price without activating them (Which is an exception). Now, if you’re purchasing the iPhone in connection to a promotion, then it has to be activated.

I am hoping that Costco will have some decent deals for 11 Pro Max for Verizon (existing line); otherwise, i will try Target in hope to score $200 gift card.

what's confusing to me is that target has the iPhones at $50 more than their retail price (like at apple), before the gift card. am I the only one seeing that? iPhone 11 starting at $749 instead of $699. and up. weird

Deals coming? Apple Store app is currently down

That HomePod deal is a killer.

Yeah it is! Plus, the BB web site takes Apple Pay (iPhone app or iPad via Safari). Gah! So easy to get the HomePod, AppleCare, and iTunes digital gift card 100-for-80...geez. It’s at my local store for pickup tomorrow now.

Agh!! That was FAR too dang easy than it should have been. There was NO friction there... ”Huh. So...I just bought myself some gifts. Oh boy.”

Kudos to BB for being slick. Well done, BB, doing it right!
(Now to pay my credit card next month...)

b&h is actually the better deal on airpods(and possible other things) if you use their cc, which takes the tax off. at least if you live in nyc, it's a better deal)

Delivery dates are wayyy out there for AirPodPros but I reserved 2 sets for in store pickup at Verizon.

Also got their $400 deal on an 11Pro with trade in of my 7 without having to add a line.

AirPod pro no longer available at Costco.

Nebraska Furniture Mart has AirPod Pros for $209 when you use the code ELE25. Have to live within 300 miles of a store. Hope this helps someone.

I don't like trade-in purchases being called "deals" since you're giving them your property to receive a rebate. I suspect you'd get more money back if you just sold your old device on eBay, so these deals are actually more expensive for you.

Not quite. I suspect the seller raises the potential _a lot_ higher when you try to sell Apple products on eBay, there’s way more fraud prevalent and honest members will lose their product and money. I would rather take a ‘cut’ by trading my device in versus losing my time, money and product. Your suggestion is noted, but it’s dated and follows quite a massive risk selling on eBay with Apple products. [Hard pass selling Apple devices on eBay.]

Found an excellent condition open box iPad Pro 64gb at Best Buy for $597. Good deal? Or should I sell my MacBook Pro 13” and get the 16” and return iPad Pro?

Apple's gift card promotion does not seem to apply to edu or other discounts applied (business, gov, etc).
