Chase still has it. Citi dropped virtually everything and is worthless now.

The benefit on cards I miss the most was the 90 day price protection - I used to be able to buy stuff pre-black friday and just price match later. Or if I needed something in a rush it was a relief to know I could get reimbursed. Probably saved $300+ in price matches over a few years.
Regulations limited the high rates they previously could charge mean their best customers lose some benefits. The world is all about trade offs

I pulled a trigger for iPad Pro 256GB Wifi from Amazon at $799, $100 off of the original, will be arriving tomorrow (Monday). Never bought an Apple product from Amazon before, hope it is not excluded from earning the points! I don't think Air is going to get much more discounted, only $50 difference was good enough. IF it becomes lower while the week goes, I'm ok.... the delivery date will be probably in December, and I take it as a entertainment cost for a week or two!!

Gosh, I was really hoping for a full-sized HomePod for $199, but looks like that won’t be happening this year.

That’s the only Apple product currently on my wishlist.

Keep your eyes on BestBuy & OWC for a full-size HomePod deal. BestBuy has run the $199 special several times in the past.

Can I buy $1200 worth of gift cards from Target effectively getting 20% off the purchase of a Mac?
Terms of the Target deal state "Redemption limit one gift card per guest transaction.". However, they cancelled all my orders other than the initial order about 30 minutes later despite them each being separate transactions.

That’s a shame about the iTunes gift cards. This is the time of the year I normally stock up on them.
Yes, but the universal gift cards are better if you don't know what the recipient will use most (e.g. iTunes vs. App Store). Since it's $20 if you buy $100, it's effectively now a 16.67% "discount." Sure, it's limited to another store, but it isn't hard to spend $20 at Target.

I guess the best one can do is get $20 back. Probably not worth the hassle.

Another issue that concerns me with gift cards is fraud.

Last year Apple revealed their BF sale 4 days ahead...so maybe we’ll see something on their website tomorrow?

The Target Apple GC deal is live now. I snagged one and used the Red card to save another $4. Will use the Target gift card eventually, so it's a win for me.

I would've rather had the 15-20% discount on the purchase of the Apple GC though...

Best Buy keeps cancelling my order on the gift cards with a “verification” error - anyone else having this problem?
