The 6th gen iPad 32GB for $249 is pretty sweet. The 128GB version for $329 at BB is also great.

I can imagine there are many people that just need an iPad for their personal computing. Add a case and keyboard and you have a nice little portable device for between $300-$400. More than capable enough for the average consumer:
  • Mail
  • Message
  • FaceTime
  • Calendar/Reminders/Contacts
  • Books (iBooks & Libby)
  • Notes
  • PDF edits/markups (Good Reader)
  • iWork (simple docs, sheets, and slides)
  • Files (in the cloud)
  • Photos (organize, edit and markup)
  • iMovie (make simple videos)
  • Safari (Web), Stocks, News, Weather, Wikipanion
  • Netflix, Direct TV, YouTube
  • Games & Social Media
  • Personal Finance, Wallet, and eBanking
  • etc...
These Apps are almost all free and come with the device. It's a great way to access the Apple ecosystem without paying big bucks for the recently released devices.

Hey MacRumors - did you guys notice that Apple "trashed" their online refurbished store today? In keeping with many of their hardware changes, it's now form over functionality. You can no longer see the model year or amount of RAM without clicking on each item separately. Can't filter on those criteria in the sidebar either.

Hmmm I wanted to replace my 1st gen Apple Watch with a Series 4, but the price on the series 3 is really tempting.
Same for me. I ended up going with the series 3. I liked some of the features on the series 4, but not enough to justify the price difference with the series 3 sale prices.

I checked it via my iPad earlier today and I thought it was only the tablet view, but sadly this is the desktop view, too.

I know Apple's own Black Friday sales are not the greatest, but when their own products go on sale, is it only at the Apple Retail Stores? Or can I just buy the sale items on their Online Store?

Lining up at an Apple Retail Store, behind hundreds of other Black Friday shoppers, sounds like a painful experience.

Its online too..I was hoping the apple education store would include gift cards as well with purchase but I think its only for the retail store

AirPods have been marked down to $139.99 at Costco for a while now so that Newegg sale really isn't a huge deal.

iPhone
If you're on the hunt for an iPhone, Walmart will offer a $400 Walmart gift card when you buy the iPhone 8, 8 Plus, or X; and a $300 Walmart gift card when you buy the iPhone XS, XS Max, or XR. All iPhones must be purchased on qualifying AT&T Next, Sprint, or Verizon device payment plans, and this offer is valid in Walmart's retail stores only.

Maybe a silly question, is this $400/$300 on top of the buy one get one ($700) for the iPhone? And if it is and I got two iPhone XR's, would it be "buy one, get one" AND $600 ($300 x2) in gift cards?

iTunes card on sale at Costco. Bought $100 x 2 egift cards for $159 today. Additional 5% cashback if you have Chase Freedom card.

It's too bad you can't go directly to Apple stores to take advantage of the Black Friday deals. I may have to go to Best Buy and snag up that MBA.

iPad deal for $250 looks solid, but I think the Surface Go is a better buy at $350 for me at least. I need the x86 to run stuff like Tableau and to get a better experience doing Excel work.

Though, I might consider trying that iPad for $250 to see how good it is. It might just feel like a bigger iPhone 7+ with the same processor.

I'm not seeing that Walmart $400 gift card deal anywhere on their website, is it still on?
I don’t see it either, maybe it will be available on Thanksgiving or Black Friday?
Do you know is those are unlocked iPhones or locked to straight talk?

There will be plenty of retailers selling Apple products at a discount.

Sounds like a great deal. Did you have to signup for anything?
Xfinity sent email offer to selected existing customers. Don't know what the criteria was but we use it for everything (triple play for six rooms etc) plus xfinity mobile for cell phone carrier. Probably based on $/mo value it earns from you.
