I don't get why Apple won't just go with a full black aluminum look!!! I'd drool for days on end...

For me the Silver Bezel as it looks like the original Powerbooks. To me the black borders looks kind of awkward on the Macbook Pros.

anti-glare and silver bezel. absolutely is a hell of a lot better than the glossy and black bezel by far.

Silver for me I'm a longtime Mac User
Since 96 and I am now a college student
majoring in communications it is the HR-Anti-Glare for me

I bought the glossy screen. Reflection is not much of a problem for me. The most important thing to me about this screen is the protection the glass provides over the screen; from scratches, dust, finger prints and possible dents or pressure. The glass screen is also easy to clean compared to the AG screen. Worry-less. :)

surprised by results. there are alot of post about ag but the vote is towards glossy, wow.

I don't really care what the color of the bezel is, just that the display is antiglare. I would have liked it if the rubber gasket matched the bezel color though (like the rubber gasket on the Air is silver like the bezel is).

Silver bezel for me. I HATED the silver at first when looking at it in photos and such. It really grew on me once I got it home and it matches nicely with the rest of the MBP. Now whenever I see a black bezel, I think that looks a bit tacky and off.

Same here, I certainly didn't choose my new 15" MBP for the color of the bezel, it's not like we have a choice if we want the antiglare option so it's silver FTW!

I like the black better. I had a MBA before my MBP and definitely like the way the black "disappears" when I'm looking at the screen.

Silver Antiglare! Looks more classy and its not grainy at all unlike some nasty antiglare coating on desktop monitor.

I like the Silver better, it has a more retro feel I think.

Plus it is a little bit lighter because of the lack of glass :)

+1 yes its lighter.

Also you can leave the brightness set at low; while on glossy, you need to crank up the brightness to counter the reflection.

glass seems to be a major design element for apple now. the ag lacks the glass.

Why IDK it seems to me that on all of the marketing pages for Apple you never see the computers on there site with Photoshop or FCP. It is all just Games and such:(

I love the look of the black bezel, but recently have been kind of wishing I had the antiglare, but I think it would look weird. Ultimately though I love the glossy, but I'll still consider anti glare in my next laptop (in 3.5 years, if were still using laptops then)

And just what does your post have anything to do with the thread topic at hand?

I have an HR AG and I think the black bezel looks cooler. However I do appreciate the neutrality of the silver bezel when it comes to design work.

You got that correct.

The AG version is like the Pro Cinema display, the 30" with the silver matte finish. The reason for the silver is because it's like an 18% gray card, neutral so that it does not effect the contrast, colors etc of images, for the pros.

I have AG and would not have anything else!
