Black or White? The big question

Have black iPad and had a black iPhone 3GS. Last fall, I bought my first white iDevice...iPhone 4S. Crazy about the white, insanely so. White "new iPad" will bein my hands on the 16th. Will see if I like it as much as I do the iPhone. If not, I will exchange it for black

I honestly find this a tough decision. My head says black but my heart says white.

I had a black iPad 1 and black iPad 2, so that might give me a good excuse to switch to white. I like the way white looks, but there's something about it that makes me think black is the more sensible choice.

I had the orginal black ipad for a year and then had the white ipad 2 for a year. IMO anything with a white background (web, reading, newpapers, etc) looks better on the white. Anything with black bars (video mostly) looks nicer on the black one.

I would keep those two things in mind when you decide on what you will do with it mostly. If you are on the fence about the white, you won't regret it.

I'm going with a black this time, just to change it up.

I agree completely. This is why I didn't even look at the black one because I bought mine mainly for reading/browsing.

I went Black, as I always do. Have never liked the white on iOS devices.

I had to get a white ipad cause that's all the store had at the time, and I've tolerated it, but I prefer black and ordered a black iPad this time. My iPhones have always been black. Like the Rolling Stones..."paint it black".

All of my idevices have been black until the 4s. I preordered the black iPad but may cancel and order white now. Just fear the white will be distracting on an iPad. (don't watch movies on the iPhone.)

My iPhones have always been black and I ordered a 32GB Black one this time around.

I really like the white and I've been torn about it for awhile. The PR images on Apple's iPad site of the white iPad make it look amazing. But I think white can look really good in professional pictures with proper white balance but in real life, all too often the white border bc of lighting conditions just looks yellow and doesn't match the vivid white color you can get on the screen.

That, along with the prominent border while watching movies led me to choose the black, though every time I go to www.apple.com/ipad I feel a twinge of regret.

I definitely want to get the next iPhone in white though!

I have a black iPad2 and seeing dusts and fingerprints collect on the screen annoys me to hell. It's worse when you have a matte or glossy protective film on your screen. I use the iPad mostly on reading and browsing the web. And yes, it is true, watching movies with the black iPad is great. I prefer watching movies on my big HDTV so I will just AirPlay thru Apple TV.

So it is white 32gb Verizon 4G LTE for me. My GF agreed. She will have a white iPad wifi only. GOOD TIMES !!!
