Big deal for vintage fans
Fine, whatever, the best for me Mr. Pedantic.
But seriously, no one uses a physical keyboard anymore. Get with the program Blackberry. And the square display will never take off.
Unfortunately, Blackberry hasn't found any.Because the Chinese are massively switching to inexpensive Chinese phones. There are plenty of other places where you can sell.
Problem here is there are few personal opinions that match yours.Too bad most people on this forum will blindly state otherwise. I used to recommend apple hardware to everyone, now not so much. People at some point must admit that the company is screwing up in some way more than ever before.
I for one have used android phones since gingerbread OS, iphones since the original model, and even windows phones. BBOS 10 is in my personal opinion the better one.
Unfortunately, Blackberry hasn't found any.

LOL, No! Blackberry must be really desperate. Who would trade an iPhone for a crapberry, seriously? Even the iPhone 4 is better than the latest flagship blackberry dumbphone.
Cared to elaborate a little bit on how you disagree with the market's voice?
I have had a iPhone since the first device was launched and before that I owned a Blackberry which I carried around the world and it never let me down, period.
For all those out there who want to knock the new passport, I suggest you try one out before you make you make judgement on the device!!!
I have both the iPhone 6+ 128 and I bought a new Blackberry passport on Black Friday for 499 off Amazon. I have been using the device as my daily driver and I am very impressed with it.
The screen is big and bright and I can put my spreadsheets up and the text is all there all there. I thought the physical keyboard would be an issue, but after a few days I found I actually typed better then using a touchscreen one and with less errors.
As far as the OS10 software, I found myself liking the swipe and gesturing concepts and for those of you who depend on message for my business like I do, nothing out there beats the HUB, period. All my messages and notifications in one spot.
I suggest you go and try the device before bashing the brand. As much as I love my iPhone 6+, Blackberry is on to something here.
I tried the passport:
1. without apps it is useless (android apps are buggy; crashes, reboots, drains the battery)
2. Square screen is horrible compared to the iPhone 6 plus: colors, contrast, sharpness, brightness, viewing angle are all noticeably degraded compared to the iPhone 6+)
3. 3 row keyboard layout was abysmal. Tiny space bar, no shift key, loose character keys makes the keyboard irritating at best.
The passport isn't selling just like the the q10, z10, q5, z3, etc.
bb10 has been an abysmal failure for the company. Mark my words, Chen will pull the plug on bb10 shortly
On a completely unrelated note Blackberry finally got rid of their ugly bb10 ui for the iOS version of bbm.
Ps:
iOS Acompli > bb 10 hub
I beg to differ, everyone has their own opinion. I just posted my observations.
iOS Acompli > bb 10 hub
I disagree with the majority of your post but this bit I disagree with most of all. The BB 10 HUB is one of the winning features of the BBOS for me. No other smartphone OS has a feature that comes anywhere near close to the functionality the HUB provides. It turns an app orientated phone into a communications device with nothing but a quick swipe.
I'm agreeing with bakron1 over this. And out of sheer curiosity, what makes you think Chen will pull the plug on BB 10?
You have never even tried acompli on iOS, download it and see as for the rest disagree away.

I'm just offering my opinion based on my experience. I wouldn't say the HUB was better than iOS + Acompli if I had never tried Acompli. I find it amazingly audacious of you to tell me what I have and haven't used just because I disagree with your opinion. Weak. 0/10.
You have never even tried acompli on iOS, download it and see as for the rest disagree away.
I reiterate:
iOS acompli > bb10 hub
you can't be serious.
Sorry but you can't even compare Acompli to the Hub on BB OS10. Acompli is mainly used to integrate you email and calendar.
The Hub integrates email, text, Facebook, Twitter, phone calls and voice mail in one area with a single swipe to the right. It's built into the OS and not some third party app.
